5/5 Stars We had the most incredible stay at this BNB! The hosts Philip & Minnie are truly amazing - warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Navigation: The location was quite easy to find, and the property's serene surroundings immediately put us at ease. Being situated right on the Periyar river was a huge bonus - the views were breathtaking! This BNB is genuinely one of the best places to relax and unwind. We highly recommend booking it for at least 2 days or more to fully experience the tranquility and charm of the place. Overall, our stay was a completely different experience from the usual hotel stays. The hosts' hospitality, the stunning location, and the cozy ambiance all combined to create an unforgettable getaway. Special mention to Caretaker Ganesh, for taking exceptional care of us. What a beautiful home! So serene, calm and beautiful views throughout. Mithun has really put a lot of thought into every aspect which is really appreciated. Getting to the stay is easiest by car as it's a slightly steep hilly walk, though a very pleasant one. The whole place is bright and airy, with stunning views yet very private. Yeshu, the kindly caretaker was around to help as best he could. The stay has no TV which I felt was a plus as you can really enjoy the stay while you're there, and Mithun has left lots of activities (badminton set, dart board) to keep guests entertained. Great suggestions for nearby food places, though I'd also suggest trying the real local smaller eateries where we had some really great food. Overall I'd recommend this stay, well worth it. We had an amazing stay at this place! After visiting Kumarakom, we booked this as a stopover on our drive back to Bangalore, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The property is stunning, and our group of seven unanimously rated this stay better than our houseboat experience in Kumarakom. The caretaker, Titus, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and ensured all our needs were met. While the food could use some improvement, it didn’t take away from our overall experience. We have no complaints and are already looking forward to visiting again!

Nice and comfortable stay at the house . Spacious rooms and surroundings , secure and friendly neighbourhood. House was clean and tidy , Sibi Chettan helped with checking in and home tour. Close to Thodupuzha town and other shopping centres. Good for families and all necessary equipment available. Two out of four rooms have AC, power outages are common in Kerala but the house lacks backup power supply.
