Summer cottage/cabin at Grundsjön

Free Wi-Fi, hot tub, 3 meters from the water, quiet and beautiful, close to nature, dishwasher, washing machine, terrace, private parking, shower and toilet, fireplace, underfloor heating and everything is newly renovated in 2020. Bed linens and towels should be brought by yourself. Cleaning must be done before checking out and must be done thoroughly, for example, vacuuming, drying the floors, dusting the bathroom and kitchen. So you leave the house in the condition it was in when you arrived. Rowing boat is included with the cabin. You need to clean the house before you check out.

Welcome to Finnskogen! Here you will live in a large and cozy house overlooking the lake and with the forest as the closest neighbor. Perfect for the extended family or friends who want nature, tranquility and plenty of space. Swimming, campfire, cross-country skiing, fishing, berry and mushroom picking and walks on beautiful gravel roads – only two hours from Oslo. From Varildgården there are great day trips to Charlottenberg, swimming or skiing in Torsby, Badeland and Selma Lagerlöf's spa in Sunne or a trip to Rotneros park. Hiking, cross-country skiing and swimming locally.

Villa Granhede - lakeside location with jacuzzi, fireplace, etc.

Villa Granhede is located in the wilderness of Lekvatten in a wonderful location with its own lakeside plot and jetty by Lekvattnetsjön. Here you can bathe in the jacuzzi (for an extra fee). Or make a fire in the fire pit right down by the lake, fish by the house or in one of Lekvattnet's lakes full of fish! Hike the 7 Torpsleden trail about 10 km from the cottage. In winter, you can go sledging right on the property, go ice skating or go ice fishing! Or go skiing on illuminated ski trails a few kilometres from the house. And there are miles of snowmobile trails nearby!

Relax in our charming cottage and surroundings in the mysterious Finnskogen overlooking Skasensjøen. The cabin has a large forest plot (2.7 measures) in a very quiet area 300 m from the beach and 500 m to Skasenden restaurant with rental of, among other things, canoe and pedal boat. The cabin has a completely newly renovated kitchen and living room. 2 bedrooms with a 120 bed in each room with space for up to 4 people. The cabin has its own well, running water and water closet. The cabin is in the immediate vicinity of hiking trails and possibility of launching a boat.

The cabin is idyllically located with stunning views of the Møkeren lake. Here you can enjoy quiet days with swimming, fishing, hiking in forests and fields, or just relax on the terrace. The cabin is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has everything you need to cook good meals, and the living room invites you to pleasant evenings in front of the fireplace. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and an alcove, and the bathroom is equipped with a shower and an environmentally friendly incineration toilet.

In the surrounding area there are several lakes and nice fishing waters, the opportunity to pick berries and mushrooms, hike or why not take a trip up to "Rännbergs Toppen" (hiking trail up to a nearby mountain peak)

The cottage is located with lake views over the lake Velen, only 10 minutes from Torsby city center. Some nearby attractions are Hovfjället with ski resort and snowmobile trails, Torsby ski tunnel with cross-country skiing all year round. If you enjoy hiking, a trip up to Skallastugan up on the mountain is recommended, to overlook the beautiful nature. With the beach location to Lake Velen, there are nice opportunities for both fishing and swimming. Boat available to rent.

About 300 metres from the beach and 2 km from restaurants, groceries store, railway station and gas station. In the cabin you'll find a cosy stove, shower and a small kitchen. I think you're really gonna enjoy just hanging out and relax on the farmyard.
