The lights on the right of the cover picture are the ones of our family house in Forno. The village is located at the end of the Biodola bay on Elba island. This home was built by boat by my grand-mother, a painter who had fallen in love with the place. We manage it for the family. It is located at the limit of the national park, and hence still only accessible by boat or by foot today. It has a private (stone) beach just below the house, and easy access to a small sand beach close to the house.

The house is bright, overlooking the sea, in a natural area surrounded by the scents of Mediterranean vegetation and the crystal clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The beach is a 4-minute walk downhill. Access to the two swimming pool areas (one overlooking the sea, with sea water and the other among the vegetation) is free. A historic Tonnara dating back to 1840 built on a small rocky promontory, overlooking the quiet Bagno beach. Surrounded by a private park, the apartment is suitable for up to 6 adults plus 2 children in the mezzanine and includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and dining area. A large terrace, with dining table, deckchairs and barbecue, allows you to enjoy the house inside and out.

Through the garden you reach the villa, with a large living room and terrace overlooking the garden towards the sea. In addition to the living room, a sliding door leads to a large fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and access to the furnished terrace. 5 minutes by car from Marciana Marina and Procchio, right next to Il Bagno beach, the Tramaglio is a perfect example of the Elban tradition: home over the centuries of many peasant and fishermen families. With 5 bedrooms, it can accommodate up to 9 people. Large private garden, sea view terrace and private access to the beach.

Cozy house at Porto Azzurro

Porto Azzurro, the house, with beautiful view, has been renovated recently. (2015-2016). The house has good place for 4 persons. The beach, "Golfo della Mola", that is very close to our house, is perfect for who has a kayak or a small boat. To bath we recommend sand beaches that is 1-2 km away.
