Gioviano is a small quiet medieval village 25 kms from the walled city of Lucca in the Garfagnana. The house is peacful and in the heart of this beautiful Tuscan village, if you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. We are 50 minutes from Pisa airport on the SS12 route. The location is perfect for summer or winter. In summer you can reach the sea, in winter ski in the hills. All year round you can explore the region by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or car.

From here you can easily visit the Tuscan cities by train: Lucca is only 30 minutes away, Florence and Pisa about an hour. You'll find restaurants and clubs within walking distance. We're happy to host your animal friends too! For check-in, we'll be happy to welcome you personally, but we also offer a self check-in service for your maximum comfort.

The decor is modern, set in a typical Tuscan house with wooden beams and roof finished with "bricks" typical Tuscan brick. The exterior offers a corner reserved from prying eyes, intended to solarium and in summer a small hydromassage pool will brighten your return from the magnificent city of art in Tuscany.

The apartment is located in Chiesina Uzzanese, in the province of Pistoia, a quiet village from which you can easily reach the most beautiful areas of Tuscany. Close to the highway exit, it is 17 km from Lucca, 20 km from Pistoia, 28 km from Pisa, 37 km from Viareggio and 45 km from Florence. Even closer are the areas of Pescia, Pesciatina Switzerland and Montecatini Terme.
