Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

This special home is located on the waterfront and Within walking distance you will find a restaurant (100m), shopping (100m), pedestrian street (250m) and large parking lot with Clever charging stations (40m) The home is furnished with an open kitchen/living room, from which there is an exit to the roof terrace. In addition, a staircase up to a lookout tower, where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the city and fjord. The home also contains 1 room with double bed (200x180), 1 room with 3/4 bed (200x140) and bathroom with shower and washer/dryer.

Gildhøj

A 600 meter long gravel road just past the beautiful Udbyover Lake you come to Gildhøj which is an old farm in 1850. Here we offer accommodation and stays for 2 people in our side building. The building, with its thick walls, provides a comfortable indoor climate on hot days. The apartment has a bedroom with a double bed, or 2 single beds, and a living room with kitchen facilities, a fridge with a small freezer, and a microwave. There is a private toilet and shower and bed linen and towels are included in the price.

Cozy vacation by the sea in a large and centrally located house with a large terrace and garden. You get the sea in the backyard with only 150 meters to the beach, 250 meters to the marina and 200 meters to the city center with shops, restaurants, bars and playgrounds etc. The house is well equipped with 12 beds. For extra needs, guests can use 1 extra bedroom with a double bed by appointment. The house has a large garden and terrace. It is possible to set up a tent or a caravan on the property, by appointment.

A nice newer family-friendly year-round cottage in the woods - 109 m2 + 45 m2 annex, outdoor jacuzzi, hot tub and sauna. There are terraces around the house, beach volleyball court and fire pit. There is a short distance to the sea and 10 minutes to delicious beaches in Øster Hurup and 5 minutes to shopping. The house sleeps 8-10 people. The house is equipped with fiber broadband and WiFi that covers the entire 3000 m2 natural plot. In July and August, check-in is on Saturday. There may be some insects at times.

Havvejen is a unique property located on an acre of located of virgin forrest down to the sea. The main house consists of two bedrooms, a cozy living room, and a spacious bathroom. About 400 meter down from the main house you find a cosy and minimalistic summer cottage, built in 1950 located just 50 meter from the sea. All the way in-between the two houses you have forest and nature all around you! A perfect place for those seeking peace and quiet immerse yourself in nature's grand playground.

Built in 2023, with two restrooms, a large open kitchen and living room, and four bedrooms plus an annex with an additional bedroom, there's plenty of space for everyone to relax. Enjoy the outdoor bathtub and sauna (wood) or try out the outdoor Shelter. Our spacious home also includes a huge garden with soccer goals, trampoline, and play area for the kids and outdoor eating areas with BBQ. Perfect year-round!

Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

Bring the whole family to this amazing home with plenty of room for fun and beach. Close to playground and water park. The accommodation contains 3 rooms each with a double bed, 1 children's room with a junior bed and 1 cot as well as a changing table. There is a sauna in the bathroom on the 1st floor. The house is located on the water side with only 300 meters to a very child-friendly beach. The beds are made and towels are provided for the number of guests booked.

The town has a good grocery shop, a pizzeria and, most importantly, a fantastic inn that also offers delicious food for takeaway. Two good-sized bedrooms and a room in the basement. Please refer to my house rules. It is strictly forbidden to keep animals in the house.
