Charming Kuskbostaden in Hajstorp at Göta Canal

Hajstorp is an idyllic spot by Göta Kanal, about 5 km north of Töreboda. In Hajstorp, there is a café and hostel and many people who enjoy life come here during the summer months. At the southwestern end of Hajstorp is the Canal Engineers' Villa, which was the official residence of the canal engineers between 1902 and 1977. Today, the Lahrin family lives in the villa. In a secluded part of the large garden is the small charming coachman's house. It is from the mid-19th century but has been carefully equipped with a toilet and small kitchen/kitchenette.

In a separate house is our apartment, which is about 35 square meters on the ground floor. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and cooking facilities. Toilet w shower. Bedroom with 3 places in bunk bed. (Lower bed 120 x 200) Upper bed (90x200) Living room with sofa bed for two. (140x190) Travel bed. The apartment has WiFi and TV included. Wifi and high-speed wired internet are available for a fee. Adjacent to the apartment is a laundry room with a drying room. Parking next to the accommodation.

Peaceful and relaxing accommodation with 150 meters to the beach with the possibility of swimming and fishing. There are scenic hiking trails and playgrounds. A walk across the bridge leads to a fine restaurant with great variety and a 24/7 store with supplies. The guest house has its own patio with dining area, sleeps 5-6, TV with chromecast and free Wifi. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, fridge and freezer, microwave and coffee maker. Washing machine available. Parking is available. Road to Mariestad about 1.5 miles.

Cozy house in the forest outside Mariestad

Unwind in this oasis and enjoy the silence in the middle of the forest on one of Sweden's smallest plateau mountains. Not far from the house is Kvarnstensgruvan, where you can explore the mines and eat something. There are many hiking trails and nice walking paths in the area. 8 km away is a swimming lake where you also can buy a fishing license. In winter, it is close to a large toboggan run. Electric car chargers are available. Cleaning is not included, but can be purchased for SEK 800.

A large countryside home on a farm perfect for large families or a stay with friends. House style is preserved from the seventies with several rooms, 4 bedrooms and bathrooms rebuilt. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, oven/stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer as well as utensils. Two TV-rooms with basic Swedish channels equipped with chromecast and unlimited WiFi. A large yard is available with furniture and coal grill. Bed sheets is not included. Bring your own.

Årnäs Bruksgården

In this elegant suite, you can live comfortably with up to two children on the sofa bed. The horizon view over Lake Vänern and the harbor is breathtaking. You live near the small port close to the mansion area, with untouched nature just around the corner. The medieval castle Aranäs is a few hundred meters away. The rugged coastline is ideal for excursions, swimming, kayaking and fishing and there are miles of forest roads for cycling och hiking.

Here there is the silence and tranquility, in the surroundings that picked up from an Astrid Lindgren saga. You live next door to fields, forests and meadows, at the foot of Kinnekulle. The cabin is directly adjacent to the Vänerleden and 1.5 km away connects to the Biosfärleden. Close proximity to kinnekulles hiking trails, mountain bike tracks and cultural sights. Both Skara Sommarland and Läckö Castle are within a few miles.

Äppelgården Holiday Home

Äppelgården Holiday Home is a small cosy house, situated between the outside of the small village Ullervad and a forest. The river Tidan flows at 200mtr. from the house. The house is suitable for 6 adults (1 double bed is in the guesthouse) or 4 adults and 2 children. The house is available only on a weekly basis. Mariestad area offers a lot of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and interesting places to visit.
