Historic accommodation in 18th-century cottage

Have you always dreamed of a small cottage in the woods? Here you will find a unique little cottage from the 18th century. Here you can listen to the crackling of both the tiled stove and the wood stove. There are beautiful walking trails and exercise trails in the forest and a small forest lake very close by. There are sheep in the meadows all year round and the cottage is located a bit away from the farmhouse where a family with children lives. On the farm, there are also other animals such as cats, chickens and ducks.

The house was freshly renovated in 2021 and is suitable for smaller groups who want simple days in a beautiful environment. The cottage is located between Borås, Gothenburg and Varberg, all of which can be reached in less than an hour by car. Two lakes are within walking distance. Sandsjön has a dock and sandy beach. Öjasjön has a simpler swimming area but is calm and beautiful. There are plenty of trails for those who want to walk or run.

Unique pigsty outside Borås

A quarter of an hour outside Borås in Fritsla, this brick building was a pigsty 100 years ago. Here you can enjoy nature and Häggån, which flows 10 meters from the house. It is a quiet area with two other residential buildings a few hundred meters away. The house consists of a single large living room of 100 m2 with kitchen, dining area and sofa area with fireplace. Cozy cottage located right on the waterfront with a large south-facing terrace. During the summer months, there is a rowboat and a canoe at the private dock as well as a charcoal grill and outdoor furniture. There is fast WiFi in the cottage that reaches all the way down to the dock. The cottage has two cozy bedrooms and a loft where you can socialize in the evenings. The small kitchen is fully equipped with most things you may need during your vacation, such as a microwave, dishwasher and large fridge and freezer.

Enjoy the wood fired sauna and peaceful forest and lakes. Just be sure to leave the house clean and do the booking yourself on airbnb. It is an old house in the Swedish countryside and so when it gets colder a little mouse may like it too. Please let us know as soon as you have an idea of when you arrive. Enjoy the lovely environment of this scenic little but very cozy farmhouse with the horses outside the window! Find peace in scenic Idala on our farm with horses, chickens, cats and dogs. Our chickens are free-range and eggs are available to buy every day. Cycle, hike, pick mushrooms or just enjoy nature and the animals. Beautiful swimming lake with sandy beach is 4 km from the accommodation and nice sea swimming about 15 minutes by car.

Stugan ligger på en höjd med fantastisk utsikt över sjön Tolken som har fler stränder på nära gångavstånd. Tomten ligger skyddad från insyn. I omgivningen finns ett rikt djur- och fågelliv. I skogen finns mycke svamp. I sjön kan man fiska Gädda, Brax, Abborre mm. Eka med åror ingår.
