Monthly Rentals in Marquesas Islands

This has set the bar by which all other stays I do will be judged. The level of communication and help is what I would expect from a 5 star hotel, including helping with arranging transportation (and providing it when no taxis were available). This was a fantastic location and I couldn't have been happier with my stay.

Temaeva was always ready to help and even took me around in her car to show me Taiohae. The bungalow is clean and well located, perfect as a basis to explore Nuku Hiva. I recommend!

Our 3-night stay at Sandra and Bernard's in Ti Amara Lodge was very pleasant, their welcome at the airport and all the information given during the trip and then during our stay we were very useful to discover Nuku Hiva . Le Fare very nice with a magnificent view and the possibility of renting a car on site a plus. The house is beautiful. Fully equipped and spacious. It is very comfortable to live in and a beautiful terrace with a large table will allow a wonderful view of the ocean. Air conditioning was only in one bedroom, there was a fan in the other room. The location of the house is up a pretty steep hill, which could be an issue for people with poor mobility. Marylin was always at hand and her son or husband has always helped us with our bags. The place is in the center of the village, close to the store and all the local action. There is a semi-automatic washing machine, which comes in handy. The owner only communicates in French, but google translate helped. They will help you arrange airport trasfer and recommend car rental or excursion contacts. Beware of turning on the appliances (washer, air conditioning, and toaster), we were able to throw the main breaker, but everything was fixed in a while. The stay here was lovely and I highly recommend it.
