With lots of room to spread out, including 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, it's the perfect launching pad for your U.P. adventures. Take in the views of Lake Superior across the street and start your day on the Iron Ore Heritage Trail for biking, hiking, and snowmobiling, accessible from the backyard! Downtown Marquette is 8 minutes away, along with tons of hiking, beaches, and restaurants.

The Martini Bunker- hot tub/sauna private apt

Newly built retro-mod apartment in a home with private entrance on 28 acres. Just a few miles from Marquette, enjoy all the loveliness of country living with quick access to amenities. Cross country skiing, snowmobiling and mountain biking right out the front door. Relax and unwind in the private sauna or the hot tub. 1/2 mile from the 123 acre Vielmetti Nature Reserve, 1/2 mile from the North Country Trail. Well behaved dogs welcome! Plenty of room to park campers/trailers/snowmobiles.

You will think of this 3 bedroom 2 bath house on the lake as your home away from home. Summer brings water sports, grilling and eating on the deck and enjoying sunsets over the lake. Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

The River House

The River House is a two bedroom cottage on the Chocolay River in Marquette, Michigan. It is adjacent to a bike path and walkway that runs through Marquette County, along the shore of Lake Superior. This cozy cottage has a deck and sun room with a view of the river, and is close to beaches, marinas, and the beautiful city of Marquette. The River House is a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Out of respect for our neighbors, we cannot accommodate snow mobiles on the property.

Floor to ceiling windows and a lofted second floor allow natural light and gorgeous views of Lake Superior. Enjoy our sandstone swimming hole in the summer, or the cast iron wood stove in the winter. Located 20 minutes from Marquette and 30 minutes from Munising, our home offers a quiet place to relax and feel close to nature.
