Too bad we couldn't each of us leave a 5-stars review. Paula has been an amazing host. Proactive and reactive, we have been welcomed very well. The place is very well equipped with everything you need for icy conditions on the lake. Paula and her husband made a hole in the icy lake for us to dive after the sauna, the experience has been really... cool 🥶 The environment is beautiful, wild nature all around. Overall we couldn't have hoped for a better experience, it was downright perfect. Thank you Paula!

I was traveling solo and really glad I didn’t choose a commercial hotel in the city. Most of the area is covered by forest, and staying at Teppo’s place allowed me to actually experience the natural surroundings. The house is clean, comfortable, and gave me privacy. It was also easy to reach, even without a car. The location is quiet and surrounded by trees, and I especially enjoyed walking in the forest with Maya, Teppo’s beautiful dog. Teppo was helpful and thoughtful throughout my stay. Although I was only here for a short time, it became one of the highlights of my trip to Lapland.

This was perfect in every way, the hosts couldn’t do enough to make our stay the best. With the sauna and the frozen lake ice bath and completely surrounded by nature with the bonus of WiFi, this is a fantastic place to stay and would highly recommend anyone to visit this log cabin.
