We had a fantastic time at Joe and Emily’s cottage! It’s in the most perfect location, quick drive to town or a 20 minute walk. It had everything you’d need, though I would consider taking a fan for upstairs when it’s hot - we visited during a heatwave! Luckily we brought one with us but I have no doubt that Joe and Emily would have provided one if we didn’t. Everything was clean and tidy. Communication was amazing with very quick responses. Its great that parking is provided but I would recommend if you do have a larger car (we have a SUV sized car so pretty big!) that you’re aware that the driveway is very awkward to get into and as it is on the corner of a busy road one of us had to stop traffic to get out when traffic was particularly heavy. Also tall folk, bear in mind that the bedroom upstairs has low ceilings so careful not to bump your head! Bed was very comfortable and furniture is lovely. Bathroom has everything you need. Small touches were great, we enjoyed the board games!

I had the pleasure of staying at Oliver’s property for two months, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the very start, Oliver was incredibly communicative, always available and quick to help with anything I needed. His friendly and accommodating nature made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The property itself is wonderful – well presented, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect, nestled in a lovely area with plenty of walks nearby, yet still close to town for convenience. We enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Annexe which was perfect for our needs. The accommodation is well equipped with kind and thoughtful touches, and we appreciated being able to walk straight from the property along some of Hertfordshire's plentiful and well-marked trails and footpaths. We won't hesitate to book the Annexe again when we are next in the area to visit family. Highly recommended !

Thanks so much for the great accommodation which was near everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this flat and hope to stay there again. Parking was such a bonus and super convenient. Lived up to everything that was advertised.
