Smithy’s Cottage. Delightful York cottage.

Charming York cottage with patio area and parking for 2 cars. Situated in a quiet residential private road with easy access to York centre via the main bus route at the end of the lane, or via a pleasant walk. Close to local pubs, a shop and a cafe. 5 minutes drive from a supermarket and retail park which includes a bowling alley and a cinema. The cottage is fully refurbished with beautifully presented new kitchen, living room, dining room, downstairs toilet, new bathroom and 2 large bedrooms.

Cosy & charming 2 bedroom home with roof terrace

This lovely home is based just off the market square in the wonderful market town of Masham. Close to all the local attractions, Masham boasts two breweries, a variety of pubs, restaurants and cafés. Alongside regular markets there are beautiful galleries, a glass blowing workshop, and many gift & sweet shops! Masham is a perfect start point for outdoor pursuits, there are many beautiful circular walks for all abilities and cyclists will be spoilt for choice for routes into the dales and beyond

It is spacious with a large lounge, kitchen, a double bedroom (ensuite bathroom) and a twin room. Also, a shower room with basin and toilet. Enjoy the use of your private patio seating area with views over the owners garden and pond. A larger garden area and further seating is also available for guest use. Local good pub (15 mins walk). Market Square View, Cosy Cottage, Grade 2 Listed!

This cosy 4 bedroom cottage looks over the Market Square in the centre of Masham. The Grade 2 listed property has interesting features in abundance. A living flame gas fire keeps the lounge perfectly warm and cosy. There are 4 bedrooms 2 of which are en-suite the other double and twin share the house bathroom. Downstairs there is a handmade kitchen, dining table for 8 people! We have EV charging on the side of the Old Library just 80m away with pod point so be sure to download the app.

Foxup House Barn is a converted one bedroom farm building, totally self-contained to the side of our house. It has it's own entrance with private parking space for one vehicle and private walled and fenced garden. It is situated at the end of a no-through road, totally surrounded by hills with stunning views from every window. Newly converted in 2023 we have put much thought and love into the project, aiming to create a warm, comfortable and stylish space, finished to a high standard.

Holme View is a terraced cottage on the edge of Masham which was renovated in 2014 and has been redecorated in 2020 and upgraded to align with the new Fire regulations in 2024. It sleeps a maximum 4 people in two bedrooms (1 king size; 1 superking or 2 x singles), is fully equipped for holiday use and rated 4-star by Visit England. It enjoys it's own parking and attached garage, and looks over open spaces towards the River Ure at the front and the Black Sheep Brewery to the rear.
