Where the log burner now sits, the original boiling tanks sat, a real piece of history. It benefits from double height ceilings, to create a real feeling of space, and is split level with only three steps between floors. As the only property in the village with french doors opening onto the beck side, it really is a place to savour.

Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.

Hollies Cottage is a private detached single story cottage standing in its own garden with magnificent views over the open countryside. There are many scenic walks from the doorstep, perfect for dog owners. Stanbury is 1/2 mile away with 3 public houses and Haworth is less than 2 miles away. Haworth has lots of independent businesses including lots of eateries, shops, public houses and the Worth Valley Steam Railway.

Coach House Cottage a perfect seaside retreat

Coach House Cottage is an old Fishermans cottage above what used to be a stables and coach store (Now a dinosaur and fossil museum). Well situated, above the main street, in the lower part of Robin Hoods Bay it is moments from the beach, the dock, and the hustle and bustle of village life. The cottage is approached along cobbled alleys and/or up a series of stone steps. It is set in its own private back alley.
