Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mata de Plátano

We had a great stay in Ricardo's home during our trip. We are working professionals and was able to work remotely with no connection issues and always had power. Ricardo is very attentive and addressed any concerns we had immediately. We would gladly stay with Ricardo again.

Location couldn’t have been better. Close to the beach, supermarkets, and restaurants. The house was very spacious and clean. The host provides all the essential necessities.

It was really great place to stay with family and it was very clean and quiet! Definitely recommended!

The house surprisingly was quite stocked, more than I expect to see at any other airbnbs. I didn’t need to pick anything other than food at Walmart for the few evenings we cooked at home. There were quite a bit of these tiny ants so we couldn’t leave anything out. Otherwise it was a great stay, and loved that it was so close to the beach.

We had a great stay! The host was friendly and very helpful, especially when there was a significant power outage hours before we were set to arrive —they checked in right away and made sure we had everything we needed for our arrival. The location was peaceful and convenient, and the space was clean and well-equipped. One thing to note: the neighbors have roosters that start crowing early, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. Despite this, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. I would happily stay here again!

Nos gustó mucho nuestra estadía! Excelente ubicación. La mayoría de nuestras actividades quedaban en Luquillo y todo estaba a unos 15 minutos. Alexis nos brindó todas instrucciones entonces no lo tuvimos que contactar para nada. Nos gustó que nos brindó muchas toallas. En conclusión, ninguna queja. 100% recomendado.

Our li'l fam very much enjoyed our stay at Jonathan and Monica's cozy and relaxing place because it was exactly what we were looking for. Instead of being cooped up in a small hotel room with a possible pool many floors away, everything we needed was right there. Rainforest hikes, beautiful beaches, local restaurants, city sightseeing, and more all short drives away, but we were perfectly happy hanging at their place without too busy of an agenda. This would be a great place not just for a family, but a group of friends as well. We highly recommend staying here as it was a big factor for such a fun, relaxing vacation.

We were very happy with the accommodations. Everything was exactly as described in the post. Luquillo Beach is awesome, family oriented, peaceful, and relaxing. They had stores and restaurants close by. And if you go, be sure to go to the kiosks. Great food!!

Yamal & Luz were incredibly kind, friendly and responsive. The views are stunning from the rooftop and the location was perfect if you’re planning activities on that side of the island. Yes, the shower pressure isn’t a 5 star rain shower experience, you get what you pay for and it was perfectly fine for us. Nothing worth complaining about.

We absolutely loved our stay at LoveSoulBeautiful. It is an inspiring and enchanting home with beautiful murals and original artwork everywhere. We appreciated all of the details, including the homemade and/or natural soaps, etc. The apartment was very spacious for our family of 4, very clean, and an ideal location close to the ocean, rainforest, as well as shops and restaurants. What a magical place! The art gallery/co-op SoulSpace is awesome too. The care that Molly, Pedro, and Cristy imbue in this whole Airbnb experience is heartfelt.

We had a great stay overall. We could walk to the beach within a few minutes. We had convenient access to a hose to wash off our beach gear when we got back. Great place for a family as there were enough beds for the kids to each have their own. One little thing to be aware of - the exterior lights on the building and in the parking lot are very bright and left on all night, and the shades don't fully block them out, so bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to light when sleeping.

My stayed at Martas location is always great it is like staying home. Marta is like family to us. I always like to stay there. Thinking already when we will stayed again.

Our stay at Diego's place was great! Clean and well kept building and the apartment is spotless. You will enjoy a beatiful view and the nice breeze you get from opening the balcony doors. The location is great and near many stores, places to eat, and beaches! I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Great value with access to a beautiful beach. We felt safe during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the recommendations made by the host. Perfect amount of space for two to three people.

We were impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail. The accommodation was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat throughout our stay. Ivelisse went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their prompt communication made experience seamless. We really enjoyed our stay in Luquillo. The condo is easy to find, and it’s right on the beach. It is possible to walk to local restaurants, or they are just a short drive away. The condo is located in an older building, but the pool and the access to the ocean were wonderful. If you plan to use the pool or spend time on the beach, be sure to bring your own beach towels, since there were only two shower towels in the bathroom. There are beach stairs and a boogie board available for renters. The air conditioning worked well, as did the washing machine. We hope to return to Luquillo in the future!

We had an amazing time at Liz’s place. The view from the balcony was incredible and she provided a number of amenities, including beach towels, floats, and snorkeling fins. She was responsive and also provided recommendations for local areas and events that were happening during our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

One of the best places we have stayed so far! Spectacular views and Benjamin did a great job of maintaining the place. Will stay again if we come back sometime.

Ray was super responsive, and it was easy to get in/ out of, and really clean. He had a great digital guidebook he sent with recommendations of places to eat and things to do. The location was perfect. We had a car and we were mobile, but even if you didn’t, you’d be within walking distance of both beach and places to eat/things to do. We’d go back for sure.

A perfect little beach paradise with an incredible view. Great space, small but nicely stocked kitchen, comfy bed, good wifi, and ahhhh that patio. Great bars and restaurants close by. Short walk to the beach. Pool was super clean. Dated building, but super nice people everywhere. Would definitely recommend renting. Note: elevator briefly went out of order, which is common among the Luquillo tower condos. Keep this in mind if you can't handle a lot of stairs!

My stain add gabrielles, please was very clean and everything was close by food. Grocery store, it was great. I loved it. Can't wait to do it again.

John’s place was perfect! Had all of the amenities you need from the kitchen to the bathroom. TV in every room and AC or fan whichever you prefer. Literally 66 steps to the beach!! Thank you for making our stay a great one John

Hector’s place was in a great, safe location. I was able to walk to the Luquillo kiosks, the beach, and always felt safe. Hector was very responsive via text with any questions I had before or during my stay!
