Holiday rentals in Maundown

From the moment we booked to the moment we got home Kam was absolutely lovely. From the outset our exchanges were so friendly and helpful. When we arrived Ben was there to greet us & show us around. The cottage is beautiful with the promised stunning views. Immaculately clean and well appointed - a proper home from home. Westward Ho was easily reachable by car or on foot. A stunning beach. Plenty of choice to eat out or purchase food to eat in. We went to Appledore which was very quaint and on the day we went had a great artisan market. We only had a short stay so only scratched the surface of things to do locally but, for us, it was perfect. Would highly recommend Kam & Ben as host at Lundy Lookout. Thank you Kam x

What a great place - just as the other reviews state. Great size apartment and fabulous location just steps from the beach. Top floor flat with super views. Everything super clean tidy and well stocked - even some nice welcome goodies on arrival. Will be back

The Plaice by the Sea was such a beautiful holiday space! Cindy was amazing for local recommendations and for getting us there and set up. The van itself was pristine and very well equipped with everything (bathrooms supplied with loo roll, shower products, kitchen had a surplus of extra bits to use) and so cosy! The surrounding area was stunning with so much to do and see (St Catherine’s Chapel is well worth a visit!!) especially if the weather is good! We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and cannot thank Cindy enough for creating such a beautiful and cosy space for others to use!

Such an amazing property in a great, central location. The house was very clean and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Julie was a great host with good communication.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and perfect for what we needed, within walking distance to some lovely pubs and easy access to Teignmouth if shops needed also (however there are some great shops in Shaldon too) Parking was allowed at the doctors during the weekend however on the weekdays we just parked at The Ness (about a 10/15 walk away) a perfect excuse for a wine after a day out walking back to the cottage. We’ll definitely be back!

Great stay Andy was available on our arrival to show us around and how to use things, beds were made up for the amount of guests and location is beautiful!

Had a booking cancelled at short notice and had to find an alternative sharpish.. found this one and the host was back to us straight away and remained in regular contact. Directions and getting in were easy and we even got notification that the accommodation was ready early. Very clean and comfortable inside - nice and cozy Great job by the host.

Stylish beach house is exactly what it says it is. Very clean comfortable, lots of space. It is right in the heart of the pubs,restaurants,shops and beach. Would definitely recommend to a friend or relative. Tristan the host was amazing very helpful and kind. Would definitely like to go back there again some other time.

We, the dogs and the kids absolutely fell in love with this place. The house itself provides all the comforts. It is spacious, comfortable, warm and quiet. Cleanliness beyond reproach. The area is ideal. Easy access from main roads, there is a place to walk, you don't have to travel far to interesting places in Devon. Great, communicative hosts. I definitely want to come back here.
