Cabin holiday rentals in McKenzie River

My husband and I needed some solitude and beauty in our lives, and chose the McKenzie River Studio. We made this decision based in the river view, cowboy hot tub, pictures of the place and private setting. The positive reviews are on point. Based on the reviews I brought a role of paper towels and two large towels for the hot tub, and I’m glad that I did. Owners notified us ahead of time that the small cowboy tub was out of service, but told us that we were welcome to use the other one that was in close proximity and larger. We received a super quick response to an issue and were able to use the tub on our last night. Relaxing in that tub while watching the river and being surrounded by beautiful trees was a wonderful experience, especially after a full day in the chill. Highly recommend this sweet little cabin!

My husband and I celebrated his 60th birthday at this lovely property. The furnishings, linens and special touches throughout the home made our time here feel like a special retreat. The property is private and absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and sitting by the fire pit while listening to the nearby stream. Ange was very helpful and communicative. An absolute pleasure staying here.

Great place to relax, quiet, beautiful space for viewing river and forests. Place was very clean, amenities were plentiful. Not far from restaurants and hiking trail, but far enough to encourage you to stay and enjoy the place. Host was friendly, accessible, and laid back. We will definitely return!

We had a great stay at Chris’s cabin. The property is nice and was a great place for our dogs to run around. Kitchen is well stocked. I visited the area 15 years ago and loved and didn’t know about the fire a few years ago so it was sad to see how much the area changed, but it was still beautiful.

the place was better than described!! very quiet and relaxing, very clean and an over all beautiful home. would definitely love to stay again one of the best I have been at.

We were in the area for a wedding. Sandra's place was one of the better places I found. It was clean and in a great location not far off of the highway and close to our venue. I wish that we had packed a cooler of food as there is not a grocery store in the area so we had to eat out which was pretty limited, but we made it work. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of throw blankets for lounging on the couch since it poured rain the entire time we were there. We would recommend this as a great place to stay if you're in the area. Just remember you are VERY remote, so pack food, not just snacks (the Chevron has plenty of those)

This property shines because of Michael's communication and accommodations. This clean / updated cabin was a great find with a lots of history. We appreciated the short walk to the McKenzie River & we hope others enjoyed this cabin as much as we did!

The riverside cabins were a dream. Right on the water you could feel the energy as you cozy up to the wood burning fireplace. It was truly a peaceful and easy adventure of a weekend. We very much look forward to returning!

What a place! The best part of the stay was being in such a serene setting. The cabin did the job. The outdoor showers overlooking the river were amazing, and we enjoyed the sauna too. As others mentioned, our cell provider doesn't cover the area, and we could only get wifi from Steve's home if we held the phone in particular spots (or walked 50 feet toward his house). This was actually a big plus, as it helped everyone in our group set down the phones, unplug, and be present in nature. Loved it!

My family and I live in downtown LA and we often try to get away from the city. This place was absolutely beautiful. Just what we needed, peace on the river with gorgeous views and being surrounded by Mother Nature. Would love to come again. Thank you for hosting us!

We really enjoyed our brief stay at The Carriage House. The location was peaceful and beautiful tucked up against a forested hill. The unit itself was completely charming. We found the king bed to be rather comfortable and could have imagined ourselves staying longer. It was overall a very easy and pleasant experience.

This B&B is wonderful!!! Comfy beds (big plus), absolute gorgeous property with all the trees. Lots of ancestry throughout the house. Felt completely at home. Good vibes.

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. From the peaceful creek and waterfall in the back of the property to the meadow in the front, to the two covered bridges you pass, and the modern Log cabin., a great getaway. It is away from the "rat race," so bring all you need for food. You don't want to leave.

This little place was a slice of Heaven. The photos dont do it justice! the screened in porch was my favorite part! The sound of the river, the ambience of the surrounding rain or shine, im telling you the screened in porch is worth the stay period!

Lovely stay at the Carriage House. Sally was incredibly helpful and reached out to us when we were running late to be sure we could find the place. She also had a clean and well appointed space. My husband and I spent two action packed days cross-country skiing and enjoyed coming home to hot water and a comfortable bed at the end of the day. Highly recommend!!!

The family cabin was magical! Cozy & comfortable, it had everything our family needed for a relaxing stay. The grounds were easy to navigate and fun to explore, with the river being a short walk away. We also enjoyed the recommended local attractions, including the Obsidian Grill, Belknap hot springs, and Sahalie Falls.

What a delightful location, cabin and surroundings. Definitely worth checking out the Delta Trail and dipping your toes in Horse Creek. The creativity and care is evident throughout the cabin and lodge premises. Hope to come back soon and often!

Great little place in the forest, yet close to town. There was a group of 6 of us and it was the perfect amount of space. From start to finish Sally was the perfect host. She is very helpful, yet gives you your space. The house reminded me of a place I grew up in as a kid. Cabin like feel with all the amenities. We took our teenage kids snowboarding and cooked them dinner after a long day on the mountain. Plenty of cookware and dishes for all of us. The beds were cozy and having a wood stove was the icing on the cake. The property has other rentals and a group site camp ground. It would be great for a large gathering with friends and family. We will definitely book a place on Sally’s property the next time we are in Oakridge!

The host was helpful and responsive, gave great instructions and tips before travel which made it easy to find without cell service. Beautiful and peaceful space with the river and trails close by. Very dog friendly. Lots to do in the area for day trips. Would go back again for a peaceful retreat.

We booked the Delta House for our family Christmas celebration and it was perfect! The hosts were very helpful and accessible. This is a beautiful setting and a very comfortable home with four en-suite bedrooms with plenty of comfortable beds. The kitchen was very well stocked with quality kitchenware. I highly recommend this property!

This place is so peaceful and beautiful! One of the best air bnbs I have ever stayed at! Very clean and the host was very accommodating def will be back!
