Charming Proctor Suite in Tacoma’s North End
PLUS
Entire guest suite · 3 guests · 1 bed · 1 bathroom

Charming Proctor Suite in Tacoma’s North EndWe just got air conditioning!! Our large well designed mother-in-law apartment boasts 900sq ft of living space. Wake up and start your day in the comfy Serta Perfect Sleeper Gel Memory Foam Mattress, queen size bed at this charming, street-level basement suite. Offering easy access to downtown, the suite is bright with lots of ambient lighting, and thoughtfully decorated with attention to detail. Please be aware that there is no cooking in the kitchen. There is a microwave, toaster and coffee maker and all the plates and dishes you will need for your stay. My guests enjoy coffee and tea with your choice of milk or creamer. For breakfast there is yogurt, orange juice, baked goods, fruit, eggs, butter and jam. Ice cream from Ice Cream Social and snacks. ***We have always been diligent about cleanliness. We have also taken cleanliness to the next level with an Air Scrubber Advanced that uses HVAC system to clean the air with NASA technology (hometownheatandcool.com/products-air-scrubber-hometown-heating-cooling-belgrade-mt-59714.php). We have done this because we would like to host first responders and to provide all our guests the most relaxing and worry free environment we can. We will also still be wiping down all surfaces that might have been used by prior guests. This includes light switches, door knobs, lamp switches, drawer pulls, all hard surfaces and handles in the kitchen and the bathroom. All our linens get washed and changed with each guest. Pillows get put in the dryer and run for 20 minutes on high on the sanitizer cycle. The pillows get washed ever 6 weeks and replaced every three months. You never get something that a prior guest had access to that hasn’t been thoughtfully cleaned. New toilet paper for every guest and the removal of the top 3 Kleenex in every box. This is something we have always done and will continue to do.

  • Chef Tour of Pike Place Market
We will take you on a culinary tasting adventure of Pike Place Market. We will be stopping at 9 different artisanal vendors; learning about local production and tasting your way through the flavors of the Northwest. Learn where local chefs shop, where coffee aficionados get their cup of Joe and more! Other things to note: The tour takes place rain or shine. Please email if you have dietary restrictions. Note that not all of our routes stop at the same places in Pike Place. We do book private tours for 8-15 people. Please direct message us to learn more. Great activity for everyone- groups, families, couples, single travelers and locals! Please note this is market tour and not a restaurant tour. There are small bites over many stops and limit places to sit down. It requires a medium physical fitness level

If you want to reserve a dozen , let me know before your visit. Another local farmer is offering flower bouquet delivery to guests who visit Sat or Sun. We can also do birthday parties. If interested in any of these, let me know and I will get your more details Also, don’t forget to follow Tinyheartshomestead on Instagram to see what’s new at the farm A reminder you are visiting an active farm and animal behavior is unpredictable. • Tour a Farm Sanctuary
Visitors to the sanctuary get to meet all of the animals. We take a walk through their habitats and talk about where they came from, what hardships they have faced and how they have overcome them. Some of the animals get snacks during the tour, other animals prefer to get pets instead, while others might prefer a different activity. During the tour we meet and interact with pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, special needs animals and sometimes the sanctuary dogs. The sanctuary is home to 16 pigs of all sizes. You will meet big 600lbs pigs, little 100lbs pigs, naked pigs, pigs who love belly rubs and more. We also visit the rescued hens and turkeys who love to flock around your feet and ask for their favorite treats. Other things to note Wear appropriate shoes and clothing. Boots or waterproof shoes are recommended. During the summer sneakers are good too. Please do not wear high heels or clothes you would hate to get dirty.
