We were all for a local experience for one night so we decided to try Khaled home cave. It's a cosy space carved inside of a hill. Not very spacious, the bathroom is outside and you will probably bump your head in the ceiling if you're not careful. But overall a great stay.

This is a wonderful place that was truly one of our highlights in Tunisia. We’re interested in farming and other ways of living, and the fellow who created and tends to this homestead gave us just the insight we were looking for. Located in the peaceful desert, this place is a little oasis full of greenery and life. We stayed in a room in the main house and you could feel the peaceful energy and calm that’s been built into the place. We took a little farm tour and then joined others for a home-made dinner. Most of the ingredients were from the farm and they were easily able to make a vegan dinner and breakfast for us. The food was incredibly pure and tasty; I wasn’t feeling 100% when we arrived and this was just what I needed. If you can, try to spend at least 2 nights here! Thanks for having us, I hope to visit again.
