Cabin holiday rentals in Meigs County

The Cabin was clean and very cozy. Lots of added touches we appreciated (including popcorn to pop). We enjoyed a variety of what Hocking Hills had to offer and the sunsets were beautiful. We hiked the cleared trail in the back of the property and sat on the swing and enjoyed the fire pit sitting area as well. No real issues with insects per other posts, but it's in the woods, so that was to be expected. The host even provided Off Bug repellent if needed. The hill was steep, but not an issue for our SUV and the owners warned you prior to your visit, which is appreciated. We wanted a nice private place and that's what Sodder Ridge offered. My husband and I are both educators and life is busy and this quiet time was desperately needed! So glad we went!

Such a great place to stay, close to the parks as well. The theatre room was a lot of fun to enjoy over the weekend and an overall great space to kick back and relax. Would stay here again hands down!

This place was BEAUTIFUL inside and out. So secluded, peaceful & clean. The hosts were kind, communicated well, & had a great guide book for guests to make check in and check out easy. They even took the time to create a “road trip” Spotify playlist, which is an awesome idea! Loved our weekend here, will definitely book in the future when returning to the area!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary. The cabin is super cute and had everything we needed. The hot tub and fire pit were so much fun. Abby was a wonderful host and we would definitely stay again.

An unforgettable escape! This secluded A-frame cabin near Hocking Hills was the perfect blend of comfort and nature. The moment we arrived, we were struck by the cabin's beauty and the serene, peaceful surroundings. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying the hot tub at dusk was great. The location couldn't be better for hikers – we spent our days exploring the stunning Hocking Hills trails, all just a short drive away. After a day of adventure, returning to the cabin and soaking in the private hot tub under the stars was pure bliss. The A-frame itself is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a beautiful, serene getaway with excellent access to hiking and the bonus of a relaxing hot tub, this is a great choice!

Had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated—it felt cozy and welcoming. The location is perfect, close to scenic hiking trails and nature. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub—clean, relaxing, and a great way to unwind after a day outdoors. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Extremely gracious and thoughtful hosts! Super clean. Beautifully decorated. The coffee/ tea bar was a lifesaver! So many small touches, these hosts truly care about the service they provide. Was very grateful for the candor about the spotty wifi. (A disconnect happened twice and only during storms.) The backyard is amazing. It's surrounded by trees and you see so much wildlife! We saw a ton of birds, deer. and a raccoon! The hot tub was incredible, newer and very well maintained.

The place was very clean and I loved the fact that the Hot tub was covered so we were still able to use it even though it rained. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway with your significant other!

My husband, 3 children and I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Karen is a wonderful, gracious host and truly goes above and beyond. She stopped by and made sure we knew where everything was and answered any questions we had! She made sure the kids had plenty of toys/books and even left them some snacks, making sure what we allowed our children to have first. It was a no screen weekend for us, and no cell signal made it all the better!! We hiked around her stunning property, watched the sunset over the icy pond, built a few fires and cooked dinner over them each night. We cannot wait to come back this summer! We made a weekend filled with core memories for our kiddos and wonderful memories for us. Thank you so much Karen, can’t wait to come back!

Had a quiet romantic weekend with my wife and had the absolute best time. Airbnb is prepped with everything we could think of and forgot to think of. Close to Hocking Hills so we got some great hiking in and then came back and played some of the games that were there. We didn't bring the fur babies along with us this time but definitely would in the future, it's very much a puppy paradise. Didn't get a chance to use the fire pit or the hot tub but that was all available to us. Overall just a wonderful weekend <3

Fantastic! It was exactly what I needed. Close to the major road, made it easy to get to and leave, but once you stepped into the cabin it felt like you were completely alone in the middle of nowhere, fantastic view and the ambient sounds from the river were amazing. Everything was very clean and modern but rustic. Rebecca was a great host, Above and beyond communication. Would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone.

Tom’s cabin was a true gem, offering a peaceful escape amidst stunning scenery. The whole family felt like we belonged, and each of us found our own special spot. For me, it was hiking their most beautiful hiking trail, while my wife enjoyed the tranquility and peace of the moment. The girls loved swinging, cats, and chickens. We can’t thank Tom and Jeanette enough for their warm welcome, helpful advice, and even the thoughtful gifts they gave us. We’re already thinking about our next trip to this magical place!

If I could give 100 stars, I would! We had such a wonderful experience, and Margot & John are the most lovely, welcoming & kind people. They were so generous with their time and space, and it was a blessing to get to know them! We learned so much about farm life, and were so grateful for the opportunity to be hands-on with the farm chores. My daughter loved gathering eggs, feeding the chickens & caring for the goats. We loved Tibby the barn cat and Barron the horse. It was so fun watching Jim the border collie (the friendliest dog ever) herd the sheep and goats. The cabin is perfect - cozy & comfortable with everything we needed. The location is so peaceful & quiet with beautiful views of the pastures. Roasting marshmallows around the fire pit & admiring the stars was the perfect way to end an evening. Also close to the popular hiking trails (Old Man’s Cave, Rockhouse, etc) & 5 minutes from Lake Hope which has beautiful trails. Perfect trip for families. We can’t wait to go back!

This was a great spot! It’s not too far from restaurants and stores. We felt safe and it was a quiet area. We felt secluded even though there are two other cabins close by. The cabin was really clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Gd was super responsive and friendly. We felt like Gd was always available as needed. We will definitely be back! Too, the kids loved it (our dog too)😊!!

We had an absolutely incredible stay — everything about this home was perfect for our little family. It felt like it was made for traveling with a baby or toddler: safe, clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully set up with plenty of space to play and relax. The location was ideal for hiking and enjoying nature, with beautiful trails nearby that were great for both adults and kids. Beyond the amenities, what really made this place special was the feeling it gave us — cozy, peaceful, and welcoming, like a home away from home. It even brought us closer together as a couple and as a family. We left feeling refreshed, connected, and so grateful. Highly recommend for anyone looking to travel with little ones and still enjoy all the beauty and peace of the outdoors.

Laura’s cabin in Hocking hills was lovely. Clean with great views of the woods. The hot tub was nice and relaxing and was clean. Laura was fabulous to work with and responded quickly to texts. A great weekend getaway!
