2nd time staying with Poppy, a lovely Host, super cool, and an amazing place, nice and relaxed. This time met her 2 little sheep who are the funniest little things and will come and say hello to you ! I learned a bit more about the location this time and theres an amazing walking pathway out of the village, super for a dog walk. Great stay will be back ! x

Compact, cosy, home from home with all the personal touches...doggy hamper, milk, coffee pods, amazing victoria sandwich 🍰. Throws and bed linen super clean and fresh. Lovely country garden. All though we didn't meet Katie, or the dogs, she was super efficient in responding. Great Dog friendly pub. Fontwell Magna is a beautiful, traditional village, peaceful and quiet...step back in time. Loved our stay . Would highly recommend.

Fantastic place to stay in Shaftesbury. Just a stone's throw from the town's amenities and a real home from home. The cottage was very well equipped and incredibly comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

I book Gwyneth's place for a writing retreat and it was absolutely beautiful - a peaceful haven in the woods! Really comfortable, with everything I needed for my stay, plus lots of thoughtful extras! Gwyneth was really welcoming, and contacted me all the information I needed well in advance, and also gave me lots of great local recommendations when I was there. I hope to go back again soon, and would highly recommend to others seeking some tranquility and nourishment in beautiful surroundings!
