Monthly Rentals in Mellon Charles

We had a terrific stay at Neil‘s place! House was super clean, nice design, no clutter, and we felt at home right away. We used the TV room as additional bedroom, which worked very well. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals and we enjoyed having a large dinner table for family meals. I already miss having my morning coffee in one of the armchairs, looking over the bay/loch - the view is wonderful! The little store in Aultbea had all the essentials we needed. We did a beautiful hike at Mellon Udrigle and a spectacular one at Beinn Eighe (about 45min drive). We really liked the little museum in Gairloch and the community shop/café there. The small Arctic Convoy Museum in Aultbea was also very interesting, even if not into war topics, and the staff was super nice and friendly. If you feel like „city life“, go up to Ullapool (a little over an hour). Neil is a very responsive and friendly host. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

We felt right at home in this beautiful pod. Waking up every morning to look over Loch Ewe and the surrounding landscape was breathtaking. The private hot tub and outdoor fire pit adds to the cosy charm. The pod has everything you could need for an escape. Mellon Charles is a sleepy little village and perfect for a relax. We felt so rested and didn’t want to leave the gorgeous surroundings! Thank you for a cosy stay, Jeanette!

The cottage was absolutely perfect and made us wish we could have stayed longer. We were glad to find it was nice and warm after arriving on a drizzly evening. Everything was spotless and the decor is lovely. The house had everything we needed. It was a nice bonus to be able to relax in the evening and watch a movie on Now TV. We really enjoyed our stay here.
