Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. We rent out a new and great apartment in a unique natural area overlooking Tjongsfjorden and as a starting point for fishing trips and trips in the fields and mountains! You can borrow a boat from us and use our barbecue hut, the possibility to fillet fish is on site. We are a registered tourist fishing company. The cabin is located on Åmøy in Meløy municipality in a cozy village, Åmnes. Nearby there are several attractive sights, such as Svartisen, Corbels canyon in Lacho National Park, Bolga, Rødøy, etc. Search for "visit Meløy", "Meløy adventure", "Bolga brygge" for info. The cabin is located approx. 200 m from "Åmnes gård" where you can buy farm products and meet the animals. Child-friendly with nature as a playground. Nice hiking areas and fishing opportunities nearby. Here you can enjoy the midnight sun, the sea and mountains.

Large cabin with a lovely view, boat and sauna

We welcome outdoor enthusiasts to our beautiful cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down to the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14-foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great, private sauna barrel right by the water, and an outdoor jacuzzi (this is new as of July 2025). Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top tours and smaller family trips for you.

BOLGA, a remote IDYLL N of the ARCTIC CIRCLE

Bolga is a beautiful island on the Helgeland coast with approx 85 friendly inhabitants, a grocery store and a tavern. Exciting conditions for hiking, climbing, bouldering, kayaking, diving, seakiting, fishing and foraging. The cottage is situated in the south-west corner, 2 km easy walking from the harbour. Daily connection with the mainland by ferry or local boat to/from Ørnes and express boat to/from Bodø/Sandnessjøen. You may observe the amazing Northern Light from September.
