Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mentone

We had a fantastic stay at The Jade—thank you for opening your lovely home to us! Traveling with two couples and a toddler, we really appreciated how family-friendly the space was. The abundance of toys, plastic plates and bowls, a pack 'n play, and the baby gate for the staircase were thoughtful touches that made our stay so much easier. While the chilly and rainy weather kept us from using the pool, we absolutely loved relaxing in the Jacuzzi—it was such a treat! The house was also incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

I can’t begin to describe how magical our stay was. I was a bit worried about the weather as I have previously been in a tornado, and there was severe weather heading our way however, once I got to the property, I saw that it was not the type of area that a tornado would typically hit and they had a location on the property that we could go to for safety just in case. Our host was very kind and patient and answered all of my questions to ease my mind, and in the end, listening to the rain on the rooftop was one of the most relaxing and peaceful sounds I have ever heard . The treehouse was beautifully decorated with the sweetest touches at every turn. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity. ! We can’t wait to bring our family back!

We had full capacity of family. Marci was so accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had. She was concerned that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She was the best host!!! We enjoyed our stay and the kids had a ball with the yard, roasting marshmallows!

This was a beautiful, peaceful home. It had a large, open yard for my dogs to run with plenty of indoor space as well! We will definitely be coming back on future trips.

This home is perfect for a large group! We had plenty of room to move around without getting in each others way! The kitchen was great, cooking was easy and kitchen well stocked. They do need sharper knives though. The dining room was great and the living room very spacious! It could be the best all around rental we have booked!

We loved our stay at the house on 193. It had plenty of room and the surroundings were just beautiful. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck while drinking our coffee in the morning. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the nature all around the house.

A beautiful setting for this property overlooking the city of Chattanooga. It is surrounded by beautiful rock out croppings and is a very charming home with inspiring outdoor space. Nestled in the trees and rocks. Beautiful all the way around.

Our stay was above and beyond what we expected! The suite was extremely clean and very inviting! Jen and her husband are very welcoming! They both took time out of their days to recommend local places to visit while we were here! Once we arrived they gave us a thorough tour and even showed us the event center that is on the property! No details have been forgot about! There is a dog park for pets, a Sauna, hot tub, game closet for rainy days (for all ages!) and a playground for the kids! We truly felt right at home and absolutely loved staying here! We would definitely recommend this location to others!!!

The property is conveniently located about 20 minutes from the must-see attractions of Rock City, Ruby Falls, and grocery shopping. Guests will find plenty of opportunities for hiking, taking in majestic sunsets, and enjoying the breathtaking views from the edge of the mountain. This is truly a destination that deserves a spot on anyone's travel itinerary.

We enjoyed our stay! The host did a great job communicating all the details before and during our trip. The room was very clean and decorated so cute. We appreciated being able to take our dog. There was an area in the back that we could walk her around. My only concern was I didn’t realize initially how close the airbnb was to a busy road so we needed to make sure to have her on a leash 24/7. The back area had a nice fire pit and picnic area to enjoy. Thank you for a great experience!

This place is great to spend some vacation time in Chattanooga. Super convenient location close to everything you want to see in the city. Great condo with everything you need to have a great stay in the city

This place was truly a fun place to stay! Kristi was a great host and very responsive to any questions or needs. Very convenient location close to many attractions but also far enough from the city that you have privacy and some nature to see. The attention to detail and special touches were everywhere, and the hidden rooms and puzzles were so much fun! I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone!

We spent two days and one night in this scenic area. We had a wonderful time and were grateful to have such a nice place to spend the night in! Catherine's cabin was clean and had everything we needed to relax for the evening and a night of great sleep!

We had an absolutely peaceful vacation. The property was quiet and so very beautiful. We needed some rest and relaxation and we got it here. We cooked every meal, the home had everything we needed. We loved the fire pit and swings. We enjoyed the lake. We even had a few friendly dogs and a great big sweet cat visit. The only thing I can come close to being negative about was, it’s super dark coming in at night and it’s hard to see. A street/yard lamp would be nice. We would stay here again anytime we visit the area. Best Airbnb we’ve ever rented.

Loves the place! Perfect couples retreat! A little pricey, but it is a specialty property, so it is to be expected. Great location! Off.the beatin path, but less than 10 miles to attractions and restaurants. Neat place! Will definitely be back!

What a place!! Well worth staying. Very close to Ruby Falls & Rock City. Cozy little cabin with all the perks. We really enjoyed the fire pit. Also close to the Chickamauga Battlefield, worth a see. Thanks Faye!!

We loved our stay here! The cabin was adorable and in a great location. Very peaceful but close to town. The host was communicative and kind enough to accommodate our request for a late checkout. I also appreciated that there were not outrageous cleaning requests before checkout like some airbnb's have. We hope to come back and stay again in the future.

We needed a place quick for a family emergency. We ended up getting to the house at 4am (after a 9hr drive and 1 hr visiting in the hospital). We were exhausted and only had a few hours to sleep before we had to be back at the hospital. This place was ready to go with everything we needed. Snacks, coffee, comfortable beds. It was peaceful and clean. Our kids enjoyed playing some of the games, played outside in the backyard and watched TV. It was a much needed distraction from the things we were dealing with. I would love to stay here again under different circumstances. This place was right down the road from Rock City, Ruby Falls and lots of other cool places we would like to check out one day!

Shannon’s place felt like home as soon as we pulled in the drive. As we approached the house, we were greeted by a sweet deer. My husband saw a bald eagle flying over the lake. The sunsets were beautiful. Would love to come back in the fall to enjoy the fall foliage. We spent one day in Fort Payne enjoying the shops, antiquing, Vintage 1889, & Maters. We walked the trails at Desoto Falls & drove along the Little River Canyon Scenic Byway. Late lunch at Rim of the Canyon - fried bologna sandwiches & tater wedges - 5 stars! Wished we had arrived earlier for their plate lunch. Mentone log cabin village and the art center as must sees. The Mentone market also serves a great lunch. Definitely recommend Shannon’s place!
