Holiday rentals with beach access in Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria

We stayed here only for one night on a road trip. It would be perfect for a beach vacation as well, as it is right on the water and walking distance to restaurants. And yes, the terrace in the pictures is big, beautiful and only for this airbnb! The only draw back is there isn't much indoor seating for many people.

Where do I start! This has to be one of the best Airbnb we have stayed in anywhere in the world and fitted our needs perfectly. Firstly, we had the warmest welcome from Marisca who showed us around, gave us a fab recommendations for dinner & together with Carmelo, proved to be the perfect hosts who felt like real friends by the time we left. The apartment is stylishly presented, spotlessly clean, has quality appliances & bedding, smells gorgeous, is so comfortable, quiet & private with a sensational balcony! It’s spacious, covered and has the most magical view across to Sicily. The weather wasn’t especially kind to us but we didn’t care as it was so beautiful and peace just watching the waves away from the hustle & bustle though Reggio Calabria is only a short drive away. Marisca & Carmelo are the most wonderful people, made us feel so welcome & we can’t thank them enough for their generous hospitality. This was the highlight of our holiday and we’d love to return.

My stay at this Airbnb was excellent. The place is comfortable, clean and well located. In addition, the owner is very kind and always available for any need. I would definitely recommend it and would be happy to go back.

We loved our stay! We will 100% stay here again when we come to visit family. The apartment was very clean- the bed in the master bedroom was comfortable and had a lovely balcony and view! The location is perfect- we would wake up everyday and walk right across the street to the beach. Beatrice was a great host- very responsive and helpful when we needed assistance with anything!

We stayed in this apartment the penultimate week of August 2024. Already from the description and photos used by the owners to present the apartment, it can be seen that it is a niceapartment, recently built, well furnished and in a quiet and elegant setting. The expectations, therefore, were very high: they were widely exceeded. - the apartment is spacious, well furnished and with all the necessary comforts so as not to notice any differences with your home; - The garden, very well-kept with a beautiful lawn, has a gazebo and a barbecue that make the evenings magical: relaxing and extraordinarily "summer"; - The beach and the sea (amazing) are really a few meters away; - In Caulonia and in neighboring countries there are all the services and the value for money is always very correct. I sincerely hope to spend more summers, with my family, in this beautiful apartment. Finally, thank you to Giuseppe for your punctuality and availability.

We were very satisfied with our stay at this B&B! The location is great, convenient to visit the city, on the waterfront and with many activities nearby. The property is cozy and clean, equipped with all the necessary comforts in an apartment. But what impressed us the most is the kindness and availability of the host, be it Paolo but above all his son Giacomo is always ready to respond to our needs. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay. 5 stars deserved! We'll definitely be back 😊

Loved the location and the quaint apartment. We would have given it 5 stars but ac and water took a star away. The municipality had water restrictions on the town which was an issue. It meant that they only provided water between 7am-10am 3:30-7pm. We ran out of water 2x’s, one day completely. The town didn’t provide water that day! We used the bathroom of a local business that must of had a big enough water tank and showered/rinsed off at the beach club showers outside. It was August, it was hot and one small room didn’t have air conditioning. So we pulled the mattress into our room from the couch and I moved into my sister’s room so that we could all sleep in air conditioning. Marco and Lilli were very helpful and quick to respond. I would go back even though we had these situations. Next time- I will use my empty water bottles to store extra water! (Maybe that should be in the notes! ) I love Scilla!

Nice and practical house with everything you need! Very clean. Lovely large terrace overlooking the sea. Clean and nice pool just nearby. Walking distance to beach, free sun loungers and parasols. Crystal clear water. We got quick and good help from Britta and co as AC in the living room didn't work. This place is highly recommended!

Large house, we wanted a place to stay among local people, which was fulfilled, the neighbors are very nice, everyone has gardens around, we got a lot of great citrus from them. There are plenty of cafes, bars, and shops in the town that are open even during the winter. You buy everything you need here, you don't have to go to a bigger city. We'd love to come back if we can.

Anna was an excellent host. She saw to it that we could fully enjoy our stay in beautiful Scilla.

The house is really great for a larger family! It has everything you need. Beautiful sea views from the giant terrace simply magnificent. Paolo and his team went above and beyond to make sure we were well. Really great vacation! Thanks for everything

Villa Ulivo was a nice surprise for us! Small house but with everything and more! Great garden, washing machine and dishwasher. The best part was having AC in the rooms, then the possibility of fresh vegetables from Enrico's father's garden. And finally, the company of 2 nice dogs. A place worth checking out.

Very well located accommodation by the sea and on Rue des Pizzerias. Very nice neighborhood close to everything on foot ( shops, bus line, train line, etc...). Welcoming host who prepares the accommodation well and all the necessary things (towels, hygiene, etc...). We were two adults and two children and the place was perfect for us. Thanks a lot.

We received a particularly warm welcome in the lovely house right on the beach. Friends of Enzo were ready with extensive information and a nice bottle of rosé (thanks Ewa and Salvatore!). The supermarket and a great coffee shop are in walking distance. The house is not particularly luxuriously furnished but you are not often there. On the beach, on the balcony or under the house in the shade it is very nice! The air conditioning in every room works great. The train comes close to the house a few times an hour, but at night it does not run. Then it's nice and quiet. We definitely recommend the house!

Graziella and Antonio are very welcoming and responsive and made us feel like family. Graziella greeted us and gave us a thorough tour of the house and the grounds. The Villa is well equipped and spacious with a stunning view of the Strait of Messina and Sicily. The Villa is located minutes from the city of Reggio and easy access to other towns in the region. We had an amazing time and hope to return one day.

The view is amazing! Albi was a great host and breakfast was a nice treat.

Carlo is a very friendly and welcoming host. The apartment is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. We slept incredibly well from the first night - the waves are right below the apartment, exactly as described. We were very happy with our stay, and sad to leave. Giuseppe’s was a great host! He responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs and requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful place and we would stay here again easily! We loved our stay here & would recommend it very highly to anyone wanting to have a good base while exploring beautiful Siderno!

Clean and comfortable accommodation at a good location, conveniently close to the lido, with a nice refurbished bathroom. Pasquale was a good and friendly host.

Very comfortable and clean fully equipped apartment. Very accessible for my family of 4. Convenient location to entire area and highways. Close to a supermarket. The air conditioner was a big plus as it is not typical for the area. Plus as an added bonus there is a small clothes washer. I highly recommend — particularly for families.

Recently renovated house, well equipped. Lots of attention, from finding various groceries in the house, products for the care of the person and for the use of the kitchen, to the daily availability of the owner Federica in satisfying every need. The house is in front of a transparent sea, on the beach you can have good spaces even in August, parking on the street is easy to find.

This apartment has a spacious seaside balcony, with direct access to the beach. The apartment is clean, and the washing machine is a plus. Francesco maintains excellent communication, and is a good man.
