In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

B&B de Bovenbouw: Loft in characteristic school

In the school building where we live as a family, we transformed the superstructure into B&B. In the 5 meter high local, we built a loft where there is a double bed and 2 children's rooms. We give sports classes in the gym, feel free to join or go for monkey cages with your children when it rains. Outside they can feed the chickens, pick up eggs, play on the square and directly in front of the school is a playground. At 5 minutes distance, a beach/nature reserve. Good to know: it's without breakfast.

guesthouse/cottage in Zuidlaren!

Lovely cottage in a great garden setting. The cosy tiny house is uniquely situated in the village center. The detached guest house is attractively furnished and fully equipped. Staying with us means enjoying a relaxing stay with plenty of opportunity for hiking, bicycles, swimming, sailing/boating/fishing. Zuidlaren is situated on natural heightened land which is called national parc the Hondrug. A lot of musea, theaters and culture. Pieterpad, forest, shops, bus stop only 2 minutes walk.

Cozy studio Onnen

Our studio is located in a peaceful place in the village of Onnen. Onnen is part of Drentsche Aa National Park. The nature reserve Appelbergen and the route of the Pieterpad are a 5-minute walk away. The cozy city of Groningen with cafes, restaurants and museums (including the Groninger Museum) is within cycling distance. If you do not want to cycle, there is a bus once an hour. (bus stop in 2 minutes) Also the Zuidlaardermeer and the Paterswoldsemeer are nearby for water sports.

Pipowagen Elsas

Aan de rand van de Es, vlak langs het Pieterpad, in het mooie dorpje Schipborg, middenin het nationaal park de Drentse Aa, staat deze nieuw gebouwde en knus ingerichte pipowagen. Voorzien van alle gemakken. Slapen in een bedstee (210x160), eigen douche en toilet. Als je geluk hebt zie je, zittend op het terras voor de wagen, in de avondzon een moeder ree met haar jong aan de bosrand rondscharrelen. Er is een (boodschappen)fiets aanwezig. De wagen is goed geïsoleerd en is verwarmd!

Torentje van Trips, spending the night in a water tower.

The Tower of Trips is an old converted watermill. All desired luxury with A label is provided. Here you can see the sun rising and you have a fantastic view over the countryside. A lake with beach within walking distance and in the vicinity are several restaurants - nightlife. The interior design is modern while maintaining the characteristic elements. In the cozy Zuidlaren is our B&B Berend Bedje. Breakfast can be booked for €17.50 per person per night. Are you walking the Pieterpad? Then you only have to walk 9 minutes. The center of Groningen can be reached by bus or car within 20 minutes. Are you looking for peace and nature? Then you can hike and bike beautifully over National Park de Drentsche Aa. The B&B is a detached cottage of 34m2. By means of a sofa bed, it is possible to stay with 4 people. Welcome!

Spend the night in a salon car between the horses.

This cozy saloon car is in the yard between the horses, chickens and geese. Enjoy the simplicity of this nice place with a fireplace, your own kitchen, box bed and 'outdoor' shower and toilet (see photos). The car can be heated by a pellet stove and equipped with all comforts for a restful stay. A made bed, clean towels, kitchen linen and final cleaning are included in the price.
