Relax in this peaceful cabin with cozy outdoor area. 2 bedrooms inside the cabin, and 1 in the annex. The cabin is located close to a small stream, which is suitable for playing and swimming. Sauna with shower. Cozy two-seater outdoor toilet. The terrain around the cabin is suitable for hiking in summer and winter. Many trails in forests and mountains. There are no paved tracks in the winter, but mostly scooter tracks you can follow. It is also no problem to go with mountain skis off the track, something many choose to do to enjoy the scenery.

The road is closed in winter! Langvassbu is idyllically located a few meters from the lake at the foot of Ilfjelet. A fantastic place with a unique location in a sheltered place. In the area there are many nice hiking opportunities for trips in the forest or in the mountains, there are also good hunting and fishing opportunities in terrain where you can find mushrooms and cloudberries. It closes at the first snowfall in the fall and opens around May. It is 5 km on skis from the parking lot, it is possible with motorized transport in.

Camping cabin

Small primitive newly renovated rural camping cabin that is completely secluded. Close to the salmon fishing river Gaula. Rest bench and fire pit (you must bring your own firewood/coal) right outside the cabin as well as chairs under cover at the entrance. The cabin is located about 200 m from the railway line, so noise and honking must be expected. The E6 is also located on the other side of the river. It's a good idea to bring a headlamp/flashlight if you need to go to the toilet after dark.

There are many hiking areas in the summer and ski areas in winter. Oppdal ski center are 35km away. A few meters you can find Buvatnet lake reachable by walk.
