It’s a lovely and peaceful place. The house is so beautiful and clean. We ordered the vegetable set which was super fresh and tasty! The host was also responsive and very friendly! Unfortunately it was raining the day we came, so we couldn’t experience farming. Overall, the experience was much more than expected. We would love to have a chance to visit here again! Great location for a getaway with friends. Kids had lots of space to play. Cooking and eating together was easy. There is lots to do: Toba Sea Folk museum right down the street. A beach down the street. Toba. Ise-Shima park. We didn’t scratch the surface of things to do.

It was a very good place to stay, including the cleanliness of the facility, amenities, and the surrounding environment. It takes about an hour from Nagoya city, but it is recommended as an option for sightseeing in Aichi by car

Spacious, elegantly furnished and very peaceful. We loved the house and its location - right next to the Tōdai-ji temple and the Deer Park. We had a bit of an issue entering the house as the code given to us was incorrect … but was just a little hiccup in our overall stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone coming to Nara. We stayed 3 days and we could have definitely stayed longer!

Junko and Philips place was amazing!! We didn’t want to leave. They picked us up from the train station which was so helpful with our luggage. The home was private, clean and so peaceful. They were both very friendly and helpful. There is not much in the area but the train station is a short walk and the area is so so beautiful. We loved experiencing rural Japan. We did a day trips to Nara, Wazuka, and Gansen-ji temple which were all great. Would love to stay here again when we come back to Japan! Thank you!!!

amazing, picturesque stay! such a peaceful and rural town with stunning views of tea trees. the house itself is lovely, would be best for 2-4 people. the tatami mats and sliding wood doors make it feel so special. there is a little bit of a steep walkway going up to the house, so pack light haha. daiki, his wife, and all of the employees were so welcoming and helpful. the food provided was super fresh and delicious. the tea farm tour was very educational and enjoyable as well. we had no shortage of tea during our stay!

A great base to explore Shigaraki. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and part of a working kiln and gallery. Great facilities and correct communication. It would be recommended to get a taxi with luggage, but once settled in, everything is a short walk away.

Location was great! We used it for our university graduation trip.The room was also moderately spacious, and we had a pleasant time even if we used it for 10 people without any inconvenience.I especially liked the sauna, and everyone is very satisfied. I thought it would be nice to be able to use it for a longer period next time!
