Holiday rentals with beach access in Mindelo

Alcione and her mother are lovely people. They were super flexible and helped us a lot. Their place is in good condition, clean and tidy. I fully recommend!

Bruno is responsive. He checks in during the stay to see if we need anything. He responds quickly when we contact him. The apartment is not far from the center of Mindelo and it is close to the police. There's also a medical center right next door.

Lovely flat, especially the balcony

We stayed in Mindelo for 5 days and the apartment was perfect for us 4. Spectacular views of the city, mountains and sea from the apartment. A supermarket is downstairs in the building and the apartment is very well equipped and very clean. You can walk to the city center in 10 minutes or drive very cheaply for no €2 by taxi. Check-in and check-out was hassle-free via contact person/security. We had really great days in Mindelo with excursions also to Sao Antao, and relaxing in a nice spacious apartment. This was an amazing stay

Nuun was there at our arrival even though it was late in the evening. We even got locked out one night where he responded and organised for us to get back in immediately! The apartment was beautiful, with stylish decor and the highlight is the stunning view! Recommend staying here if visiting Sao Vicente!

We fled winter in the Netherlands and stayed at Casa Magica for 3 months. Magi is a super host! Very quick to answer questions. Not only in advance but also when we were there. When the Senseo toads and we couldn't find them in the shops, she took them from the Netherlands for us when she came across for a while. How sweet is that?! The house is fine, maybe a little dark due to the closed shutters...the courtyard does not have direct sun but is fine for sitting outside with coffee or wine. Tip would be: to put 2 garden chairs there. Not to forget...super nice big bed! The distance to downtown was not for us to walk but by taxi for not yet €2 fine. We had a lovely time!!!

Beautiful, modern apartment just outside the center, about 5 minutes walk to the city beach and about 10 minutes to the center. The apartment is furnished as new, clean and has everything you need for a successful vacation. Pleasant bed and shower with decent water pressure. Recommended! Deborah is an attentive host, communicating with her was very easy and quick.

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Evaristo personally welcomed us to his beautiful and spacious beach house. From the upper floor we had wonderful views of the beach, the sea and Santo Antão from both the room and the outdoor kitchen/lounge. Within walking distance there are a few mini-mercados where the essentials are available. Except for a few day guests at the beach and restaurant Chez Zoe, there are hardly any tourists. The locals are kind and authentic. The connection with Aluguers to Mindelo works great (frequent connections) and is a great experience every time. Baia das Gatas can also be reached with a little luck and negotiation skills with Aluguers. Evaristo also gave us very good contacts via which we could organize excursions for a boat tour or for snorkeling directly from Salamanca.

Unforgettable stay in this lovely haven. The beautiful house is located by the sea with a lovely pool as in the photos. Not only the house and very pleasant but Anny is a very welcoming person, in sharing and human experience. She also has a good network/knowledge and a small team to make the stay easier (drivers to take you and pick you up from the departure/arrival points of the different hikes; evening meals prepared by Isa, Verdian cape for a maudique sum and excellent, much better than at the restaurant). I travel a lot and can assure you that I have rarely met such hospitality and this range of service without forcing. I leave with great memories and new friends! Thank you again!

The stay could not have gone better. After a stressful flight, Sr. Maurits' hospitality helped us embody the spirit of the island. He recommended the best restaurants and attractions to us, helped us and was available for everything we needed. As for the apartment, excellent location in a prestigious area, newly built, all amenities, products and decoration heavy on detail. 5 stars aren’t enough, Mr. Maurits and his apartment deserve every blessing coming their way. The Airbnb stay was absolutely amazing from the location being so close to the beach to having a well equipped gym inside the building along with a great restaurant. I would definitely come back to this location again I mean, I literally was scheduled for Zumba at the gym. It was super dope and I would definitely revisit this Airbnb location again. The walk to the beach is very short however, if you would like to take a taxi you can, but I walked after the first day towards the beach and beyond the beach area for food and everything.
