Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Miyazaki

There were nice facilities unlike ordinary private lodging such as hot springs and fireplaces! The couple greeted us kindly, and we had a comfortable stay for 6 parents and children. The building is old but clean, and the location was good as a base for sightseeing. I think it's a place to stay!

It was quiet and I could feel the atmosphere of Japan. I had a good time having a barbecue with my friends. Highly recommended for those looking for a well-maintained lodge feel

It's a great place to stay regardless of season! I went with one other guest during the winter. My girlfriend enjoyed the sauna and outdoor hot bath during the cold days and nights, and I enjoyed grilling food on the BBQ and staying warm by the fire. It has many amenities and good internet. Driving is a must as it is up the mountain and grocery stores, restaurants, etc. are a good distance away as well. I highly recommend staying during the winter!

We loved our time here at the lodge. The place itself is a beautiful log cabin, with a serene little garden. We felt so comfortable and at ease at the place. It was also a stone throws away from many cool restaurants, cafes, and a fancy grocer. It's also only a few minutes from the beach. would definitely stay again

Peaceful and refreshing stay at Jonathan's for our small family! The cabin has a lot of charm and is well equipped for a few days. Our kids loved the chickens and sleeping on futons 😉 Jonathan is very nice and accommodating, thank you so much!!!

We had the most magical stay in this absolutely charming village. The location is a dream—just a few steps from the beach, where we spent our mornings and evenings soaking up the views. The home itself is a total gem—thoughtfully designed, maintained with love, and filled with such a cozy, inviting energy. From the moment we walked in, we felt completely at ease and right at home. And the hosts? Truly the sweetest people ever! They've thought of every little detail to make your stay feel effortless and special. Their kindness, attentiveness, and seamless communication made everything feel smooth and stress-free. We felt genuinely cared for. Everyone in the village was so welcoming and kind too. You don’t need a car to stay here (although it is more convenient). We were able to explore the coast by train. The views from the train were stunning. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already dreaming of our return.

Hide-san is very kind and was there to walk us through every corner of the house. The well-stocked kitchen was very helpful as many restaurants closed early during golden week. On top of that, the toilet and bedding were both clean and comfortable. We drove to Kuju and Aso; distance wise, everything is below 1 hour. We will definitely stay again next time!
