160-year-old renovated kominka house. 2300 m² site, 170 m² building.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.

WANKY House (Entire House)

This is a rental of an entire house. The displayed price is for up to 2 people per building. The maximum capacity is 4 people, so please enter the number of guests before making a reservation. Check-in time is from 3 pm to 6 pm and check-out time is 10 am. We will greet you in person, so please let us know your approximate time of arrival. Parking is available at the entrance to the property. There is also a cafe on site where you can eat the host's specialty tacos (from ¥1,200 per person). Please let us know in advance if you need it. You can also use the barbecue corner in the facility (facility usage fee ¥3,000 or more, please bring only materials and seasonings). There is a restaurant nearby, but it closes around 5 pm to 6 pm, so if you're going to be late, we recommend that you eat dinner beforehand.

Villa Ocean Blue. Ocean & Mountain Views 110sqm

The house was built in 2005 and has 3 bedrooms but the first floor has been partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic views over famed surfing mecca of Kanegahama beach. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress that can be used if needed (it is not as comfortable as the beds!). As this house is in a residential area, we ask all guests to refrain from making loud noise/music outside, especially after dark.
