Monthly Rentals in Mjelde

We felt at home in the accommodation from the very first day. The house is very cozy and well-equipped. We were able to observe porpoises, humpback whales, and sea otters right in front of our house. This is a place where you can find peace from the hectic everyday life. Starting points for ski tours are just a few minutes' drive away. Communication with the host was very straightforward and very friendly.

We stayed at Nina's place for 4 nights. From check-in, to the lovingly prepared house, the preheated rooms to the fully equipped rooms, to very helpful information about the weather and the absolute accessibility, everything worked out wonderfully and we felt very comfortable. Thank you Nina

We stayed at Kent’s for two nights during Easter. He was very nice and helpful from the moment we met him: showing the place around and how everything worked (it is half a camping van so be prepared to live in the style of it). He was also easy to reach when we needed something. He offered us the chance to shower at his place since there is no shower at the airbnb but we didn’t feel the need to use it. The location is spectacular! The place was nice and warm with huge windows to the fjords and there was a built cover to give some privacy to the guests. It was also well equipped for cooking etc. We visited a local restaurant nearby which was part of a yoga retreat center, can fully recommend that as well. Also, make your way to Sommarøy while you’re there. Easter was too late in the season to see any northern lights since it didn’t go all dark anymore in the nighttime. All in all, beautiful place and a very nice host!

It was just beautiful and warm at Østein. Great panoramic windows with amazing views. Østein is a perfect host, has supported and was always available for questions. We will be happy to come back!
