Old house/trip to meet the good old Katsuura/fishing spot/near the beach

This is a "very old building" that seems to have been built in the early Showa era. It used to be a Dried fish shop. It is a long, deep row house with a very unique construction. The inconvenience of glowing everywhere, such as the dirt room right from the entrance, a small living room, a steep staircase, and a slightly tilted second floor.We have renovated it to make it more comfortable while retaining the original character. The location of the inn is right behind Katsuura Mori Street and the shopping district, so it is in a good location.It is a short walk to Katsuura Port, so you can easily go fishing.In the morning, you can buy vegetables and dried food at the morning market, take a break at a famous local coffee shop, visit a nearby temple, or take a bath in Matsunoyu, the oldest public bath in Chiba Prefecture!There are also a variety of nearby izakayas with a reasonable and good atmosphere.Try Katsuura Tantan noodles! Our house is located 15 minutes from Narita Airport or Narita Station by car. Ideal for guests using Narita Airport. We offer free transportation to Narita Airport or Narita Station upon check-in and check-out. The maximum number of guests is 5. There are two single beds in the bedroom. For 3 or more persons, futon bedding will be provided.

Kominka-no-yado-"Monshichi"/BBQ/Pet-friendly

Monshichi is a 300-year-old traditional building, the oldest in the area. It has renovated as the rental vacation house and restaurant & bar in 2022. A BBQ grill is available. The use of the grill is charged (2000 yen). When using the grill, please pay at the designated place on site. In the restaurant, you can enjoy the seafood of Sotobo. (Open : 16:00-23:00) There are a pet cage and dog park. Up to 1 medium-sized dog is free of charge, and additional dogs of 2,000 yen will be charged.
