Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Modena

We loved our stay in this amazing place. It is situated in a non-touristy neighbourhood, with the magnificent Ducal Park literally just around the corner. Perfect for a stroll or a morning jog. Just a couple of minutes on foot to reach the bridge over the river and the historical center. The house is on 4 levels, with many original details, two bathrooms (very convenient, as we travelled with three adults), great atmosphere with lots of books, and as the cherry on the cake a garden. The rather stark fotographs are taken in the winter, but in april it is a lovely, lush place, where we had lunch in the sunshine. We slept very well and were only woken by the many birds that reside in the park. Adriano received us in person, which we appreciated very much, and shared with us some of his profound knowledge of the history and art of Parma. During our stay he stayed available for questions and always reacted quickly. We felt very welcom in this authentic house.

An extremely recommended place to stay for those who love the real Italy. Extremely likeable, helpful hosts, authentic, large house, exemplary cleanliness, central location in the Po level (however: car highly recommended!!!), plenty of space for up to 8 people, family-friendly large, superbly equipped kitchen, pet friendly. Fantastic! Had a great time!

We had a fantastic stay at I Casali. The accommodation was cosy, clean, warm and comfortable. Tiziana and Roberto were excellent hosts. They provided us with great recommendations of places to visit and even baked some delicious cakes and biscuits for us.

A very large, clean, and comfortable home. Monia was very accommodating and very communicative. The house is large and we felt right at home immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

Laura did an incredible job of making us feel welcome and the area is beautiful! She communicates well and had a gorgeous dog!

Francisco was the most gracious host ! He was very attentive. He recommended restaurants , called to make a reservation for us since we didn’t speak Italian and guided us where to park in the city center. It was a pleasure staying there . Definitely a 10/10 !!!!

Greatly communicated, having nearby landmarks such as Bologna, Ferrara, Modena, Ravenna... Despite being very close to the airport, we were never bothered by the planes. Well air-conditioned, with large rooms and comfortable beds on the top floor. Good table and televisions (one in one of the bedrooms and one larger, in the living room). Everything is very clean, fully stocked kitchen. Own parking space at the door. Good communication and kindness. As a better point, we could talk about the bathtub, classic but a little uncomfortable.

Beautiful and quiet house! The cat was a great companion and each room was impeccable. Some dead but normal bugs being in the countryside. we had a great time in a world, so much so much as to break a lamp, but Miriam was very nice and didn't ask for money for the repair.

I was hosted by Francesca, very kind, welcoming and helpful, I found the apartment tidy and clean, and it also has a side table with chairs to eat outdoors. The pool is close to the apartment, and has an outdoor shower with hot water. The place is quiet, I recommend it for those who love tranquility surrounded by nature, there is also a nice viewpoint and you can admire the sunset.

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

We had a really lovely stay at the house. The poolside and the view are awesome and Marco was super nice. I absolutely recommend to do the wine tasting with dinner!

Very comfortable house, clean and large pool. Pietro, despite not seeing him, was always available to respond and give us directions. The only downside is the location. You have to take a nice trip to do some things. But otherwise it's great.

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

Lara is a friendly and helpful hostess. We felt very comfortable with her. The apartment is on the lower floor, but nice and cool. The surrounding area and the space around the house are fantastic. Especially the large pool with the loungers under the trees. The sunsets while dining right by the pool will remain unforgettable to us. Fireflies can also be seen. The place is rather expensive, but superbly located. Also ideally suited for excursions. We will be happy to come back!

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. Excellent stay! Andrea is a wonderful host. Comfortable and well appointed house in a beautiful setting. Very clean and spotless. Location is in the hills outside Bologna and a car is necessary to get around.

Debora was very kind and helpful. The place is very nice and comfortable. It’s a very local neighbourhood, don’t feel like you are in a tourist area. Quiet at night. Easy to walk to restaurants and the old city area. We had all five rooms so it worked well. If you don’t take all the rooms you will share the kitchen. Two rooms have ensuites bathrooms and then there are two other bathrooms shared with the other three rooms. Two of the rooms connect to the same large balcony. The listing needs to be updated as there is no washing machine, Debora kindly did some laundry for us because the listing still said washing machine. We had different numbers of people on different nights over the five night stay and Debora was accommodating of that. She lives on the main floor, all of the rooms are off of a shared hallway on the second floor.

This is my second time staying with Ivano, so I don't have much to add except that I will definitely come back again a third time, if you are looking for a few days of relaxation this is the perfect place.

We stayed with our medium-sized Treccani, we found a space in extreme safety both inside and out. The house was very cozy, tastefully cared for with everything needed for a comfortable stay. They are two special people who are kind, welcoming, really like being in the family . Thank you for everything , even the Sunday walk together in the local market.🙏

We stayed for a weekend at Daniele's place. The house is small but equipped with everything you need, super warm, which in winter is a fundamental aspect especially if you travel like us with children. Daniele is a very nice host, he immediately gave us clear directions to the apartment so it was very easy to get there. The house is very clean and with a wonderful view. We had a great time. If possible, we will definitely be back!

This is, without a doubt, one of the best Airbnb stays in Italy, hosted by the best host. I have stayed in many Airbnb homes over the past 10 years, and while I have been satisfied with most of them, Francesca and her home truly deserve the highest praise. The apartment exceeded all my expectations, meeting every need with top-quality equipment and furnishings. The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, closets - everything was simply perfect. Beyond that, the location is fantastic. If you were moving to Parma permanently, this is probably the first neighborhood you would consider. You are just a few minutes' walk from everything -supermarkets, the city center, restaurants...- yet the apartment remains incredibly quiet, with no noise or chaos whatsoever. Francesca, with her kindness and attentive attitude, is not only a fantastic host but also a truly wonderful person. I will be staying in Parma for a while longer, and I will always recommend Francesca’s home to any friends visiting me in Parma.
