A nice room with a private bath.. I am posting this a room for 1 person... It has a very nice posturepedic single bed most of the time but I can put in a full size bed as well so 2 persons can stay for 10 bucks more... If you like old historical houses this is interesting because this room is one of the oldest operating hotel rooms in America.... The building is most likely late 18 century but was built as an Inn, not a house so this is a historical hotel room easy to keep distance

This is the Verona Suite. $215/night This room is for two adults only. It’s an adult hideaway. Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. This is one of several well appointed rooms and suites in several restored houses and is part of an artist residency. This suite addresses a waterfalls and has an adjoining studio for painting & writing. One of only two suites in the remote and recently renovated artist's colony house with queen poster bed and luxurious marble bath. The wooded ravine with waterfalls behind the house is a bird watchers' paradise. If booked with room 10 you have the entire house to yourself.

These elegant accommodations are a half-hour from Cooperstown, Glimmerglass Festival, Hamilton, Clinton and Utica. Artist Residency part of the year, suite 3 on the second floor of the Wheeler House, includes a king-size 4-poster bed and has a large marble bath with shower/tub, and comfortable living room with sofa and gas-log fireplace. We are pet friendly. The Horned Dorset Inn "At Home" meals are available on request (menu on our website).
