It is a guest house in a quiet rural village, 15 minutes by car to the sea of Gangneung. The buildings are connected, but the entrance, toilet, and cooking facilities are separate, allowing for an independent stay. Free parking is available in the yard, and there is an outdoor dining area, so you can experience a barbecue with an electric grill (I don't use charcoal/bonfires due to the risk of wildfires). If you come with children, you can also do seasonal activities with owners like grandparents and grandparents in the countryside. The room is not wide, so we recommend a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. It is small for 3 or more adults. We also prepare breakfast with a home-cooked meal for those who request it (separate charge). On your way to see the sea in Gangneung, enjoy the countryside atmosphere and warm hospitality.

The birth of 'Golmala' dates back to 1938. The wooden structure, which has endured for 86 years, had many places to touch, as some parts had collapsed. The pillars of the hanok were preserved as much as possible, and the missing parts were replaced to match the past and the present in the wooden structure. All indoor spaces have been carefully designed to visually communicate with the outdoor courtyard. The spacious bathroom space is designed to be the most cozy place in this house. We hope you experience the meeting of the past and the present during your stay at 'Golmala'. We have provided a guide to the history of 'Golmala', nearby restaurants, bars, and cafe information. It was officially opened as a Hanok experience accommodation business at the end of January 2023.

This place is a 10-minute walk from the Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm, and in front of the pension, there is the National Forest of Korea, the best trekking course in Korea. In winter, it snows a lot, so you can see the wonderful snowy scenery. It takes about 8 minutes by car to get to Yongpyeong Ski Resort. There is a Hoenggye Hanaro Mart 7 minutes away by car from the pension, and a convenience store 3 minutes away by car. It takes about 25 minutes to get to Gangneung. Take a break with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

This is a 60m2 private pension located in Daegwallyeong Swiss Village Complex, and can accommodate up to 4 people. It's cozy and quiet, so it's a great place to relax. Especially at night, it is a place where you can see the stars well, so it is recommended to come to see the stars. [Yangtteo Ranch] [Seonjaryeong] [Gukmin Forest] is 1km away, so it is in a good location for traveling by car (2 minutes) or on foot (10 minutes). It is home to Alpensia and Yongpyong Resort that serve as the stage of Snow Festival. My house was the official lodging of the organizing committee of the Olympic Games in Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics. They loved our accommodation very much.
