Monthly Rentals in Monterongriffoli

Stayed at Mauro’s for around 3 weeks and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The photos don’t do the place justice, it’s a beautifully traditionally decorated Tuscan farmhouse. Mauro was the perfect host, brought us figs, fresh eggs, change of sheets every week and overall was very welcoming and accommodating. If you’re visiting don’t forget to ask for his Rosso Montalcino vine which is fabulous. Naturally it is the countryside so don’t expect perfect internet, perhaps not for remote workers but during those low connection times do go out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, deers, horses and the gorgeous fields. I already miss the place, Mauro the fabulous host & I hope I’ll be able to come back one day.

What a beautiful place - we only wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the quiet, clean, and well-equipped apartment with exquisite views, the tasty breakfast items like eggs, biscotti, and jam, the activities with animals for our kids, and the delicious dinners at their restaurant. We also took a fun class to make pasta and biscotti that was kid-friendly. Paola, Andrea, and all their family are warm and helpful. There are many charming historical towns nearby to visit as well. This agriturismo is truly a gem!

Very pleasant stay! Check-in was flexible: we arrived late at night and, without problems, we agreed to do it comfortably the next morning. The house is centrally located within the village, convenient to get around by car and visit the entire Val d 'Orcia. The place was clean, tidy, and well-stocked with all amenities. The kitchen is equipped and perfect if you want to cook something in the evening, maybe after a day around the villages. Recommended!

Cristina and her mom Paola were very kind and very responsive hosts. The directions were clear and the communications timely; they also welcomed us very warmly. Super recommended!
