Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Montgomery County

The house is even more beautiful once you’re there. Pictures do not do it justice. So many comfortable amenities that make you feel at home. Beds are very comfortable, everything is spotless and we spent many nights by the fire on the screened porch and mornings looking out over the lake. The host was fabulous and so responsive. This will be the ONLY place we stay when we visit family in NC.

We had a fun time and wished we could stay longer. Greg’s home is really clean and has fun games and a well-stocked kitchen. We would love to come again.

This place was perfect for my family. We had a great time. The only thing we hated was the steap drive way. It’s not made for older people to get down. The house was beautiful and great view of the lake. Kids enjoyed the dock and playing in the water. Really nice dock and lots of room.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The house is on the lake so we had a beautiful view all week. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and relaxing in the sunroom. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. We went to the NC Zoo which was about 40 mins from the house. Both host sent and responded to messages quickly. Great place to stay!

Debbie’s place was perfect for our family trip. Everything that was needed for the house was provided and then some! Check-in & check out was easy. Very quiet & peaceful with a great view. I would recommend this house 10/10.

We rented the lake house so my family and I can spend the holidays and my dad's 87th birthday together. We all had a great time! The place was really nice and the house is really spacious.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The house was so welcoming and clean! I felt right at home I couldn’t have been more comfortable had I have been in my own home. It was literally a home away from home! Just bring groceries and you have no reason to even leave! They had snacks sitting out on the counter and water in the fridge for your arrival. The property was absolutely beautiful! The little dock by the creek was so nice. We had the option to grill out, they have fresh fruit on the property to pick and enjoy. Stephanie and George are amazing hosts! We were even given a homemade gift before departing! They made sure we had everything we needed during our stay and checked to make sure everything was accommodating. This was hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had with an air bnb! Lots of local information was provided as well! Absolutely amazing experience I just can’t rave enough about it! We can’t wait to stay again when we are in the area. This is a perfect little get away!

For this to be my first Airbnb experience it was amazing. My family and I felt like we were home away from home. The house was big enough for us and fully equipped and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Lots of towels, linens and throws. The neighborhood was somewhat remote and quiet. It was definitely a 5 Star experience!!! Thank you!

We loved the place! The place was amazing and felt cozy! Beautiful outdoor view and great landscape! I also want to shoutout the amount of space the place had, it was able to accommodate my party comfortably!

I had an issue at check in and Carolyn was delightful and extremely responsive in helping me get it resolved. We accidentally left some important items and she also helped us get them shipped back to us. On top of how beautiful the lake and the property is, it was a wonderful stay!

Wow. What a beautiful place! The pictures don’t do this home justice. The inside is just beautiful and cozy, and truly made us feel like we were in a cabin up in the mountains, tucked away from the outside world. The outside of the house was truly fantastic! From the deck, to all the open space in the back and the gorgeous water views, it was the perfect place to relax any time of day. Our kids didn’t even want to go anywhere else because the backyard area was such a fun place to play and explore… and the adults all loved lounging on the back deck while the kids played! The house had everything we needed and more, and even the kitchen was outfitted with everything we could need for our weekend away. Every part of the house felt cozy and welcoming and we only wished we could have stayed longer. If ever in the area again, hands down this is where we would want to stay!

Peaceful location just minutes from hiking trailheads. We enjoyed the firepit, listening to the birds, the cozy bed, and the fantastic outdoor shower. We hope to return sometime.

Great cabin. Super clean. Very peaceful. Loved the back deck with porch swing. Very comfortable bed and nice living room furniture. Couch is great. Nice flat screen tv. Note: it’s down a long gravel road. Good to arrive in the daylight otherwise might be hard to find
