A haven in the heart of the Cézallier, overlooking the Monts du Cantal and the vast landscape, where everything invites you to slow down: the silence, the light, the wide open spaces. Perched at 1,200 metres in the alpine pastures, this exceptional cottage, an old building from the 1950s, is extremely comfortable. Carefully restored, the essentials have been preserved: the light and the space. Wherever you are in the house, the view is stunning. A bow window, a panoramic veranda and windows frame the scenery, the clouds and the play of light. Here, we live in harmony with the outdoors.

At an altitude of 1,200 metres, on a ridge in the middle of the volcanic Cantal mountains, you wake up to the sound of cows mooing and birds singing. No traffic noise — just open air and a sweeping view over the valley. From the house, you can step directly onto hiking trails towards the Puy Mary. Inside, there is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with box spring beds and a pellet stove for the cool mountain evenings. Ideal for those who really want to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

Buron lost in the mountains at 1300m altitude. it is only accessible on foot from the farm of La Loubeyre. A unique experience with a breathtaking view of the Sancy and the lakes of the Cézallier. to know the life of the buronniers of yesteryear. WARNING: Inland water is cut off in winter. There is still a tap accessible in the bathroom for drinking water, kitchen and toilet. The full circuit was restored in the spring. Do not use the wood stove, it is broken.
