Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood-burning stove for the winter. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

The Palauqui farm is located in the Montjardin valley, in the middle of the forest and our sheep. We are in Cathar country near Montségur and Puivert. Our cottage will allow you to discover this beautiful region between sea and mountain. Ideal for a family who loves hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, as well as swimming and fishing (Montbel and Puivert lakes) 15 minutes away. This recently renovated house is set in the middle of a 70-hectare organic wine-growing estate, in the Cathar region and close to Carcasonne. It offers magnificent views of the surrounding vineyards and forests, ideal for walks, with views of the Pyrenees. This house is next to the Belgian owners' central farm, but is entirely private. During your stay, you can enjoy free wine tasting and a tour of the winery.
