The cottage was absolutely gorgeous, spotlessly clean, every amenity you could wish for and more. Very classily decorated. So much thought has been put into every detail of this cottage, from wonderful comfy mattresses, crisp white linen to a glorious coffee machine, just right for a morning coffee on the decking in the landscaped garden. We were so fortunate with the weather we were able to sit out in the lovely garden. So peaceful away from the business of life. (But close enough to jump in the car to lovely North Berwick). Scott was the perfect host, couldn’t be more helpful to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay! I’d come back in a heartbeat!

Thank you Andrew for an amazing stay. The Wee Bothy was absolutely spotless and a perfect place to stay if visiting Edinburgh or the surrounding areas. Perfect for our dog Rocky with a secure garden and plenty of beaches nearby. Andrew was on hand to welcome us and provide useful local information and was always on hand should any questions arise. He also went out of his way to allow us to rearrange our initial visit in December due to a family emergency, very grateful! Please consider The Wee Bothy on your next stay to south east Scotland!

Highly enjoyable stay - very easy checkin, great location, very nice cottage. Really easy to get around (with car), Bostock bakery just 5 mins down the road Highly recommended for a nice trip away - Edinburgh was a 40min drive too

Matt and Hannah were charming hosts. The property is a converted farm building, and while the conversion is not recent, it was very well appointed, very comfortable and clean. A wood-burning stove, good wi-fi and a new large-screen TV meant staying in if the weather was poor was super cosy. It is also very dog-friendly with a fenced field on the property. A pretty stream runs through their land and in late April it was a riot of birdsong. Access to Edinburgh was easy, but you have to have your own car. We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.
