Come and take a break in this peaceful little hamlet, located halfway between the villages of Ris and Chateldon… Set in the heart of the Auvergne countryside (at the foot of the Monts Bourbonnais and the Bois Noirs), in a verdant setting, for a return to nature and a reconnection with oneself. Enjoy a variety of nearby walking trails and exceptional tourist attractions (Puy-de-Dôme and the Auvergne volcanic chain, Vichy, the ‘Queen of Spa Towns’, charming little villages such as Châteldon or Charroux, etc.).

Need to go green? Come and recharge your batteries away from noise, lights and pollution in this 1812 retreat where greenery, old stones, old wood await you, but with all modern comforts. Wifi permanently cut off (except in emergencies) for less frequent disturbances, no TV but video projectors for movie buffs. Large kitchen, living room and shared bathroom. Rentable by the room (3 bedrooms and 3 different prices) or as a self-catering cottage (I live in another building).

"La Maison aux Arcades" vacation rental

The pool is under construction in June. "la maison aux arcades" is a step-free cottage in an outbuilding of the castle (old hall) .for families (2 adults and 2 children over 2 years old and 1 baby. The garden, the shared family swimming pool and the wooded park are at your disposal. The GR300 passes in front of the castle, as do the "Chemin Autry-Issard" trails the forest within walking distance . beds made on arrival. A quiet place, ideal for resting and taking a walk.

Manoir Delarue gîte and B+B - Le gîte

At Manoir Delarue you will find the perfect French getaway. The gîte is spacious, comfortable and beautifully finished with natural materials. Open plan accommodation spread over three floors; first floor master bedroom with king size bed, bathroom with big bath tub and office area, stairs leading to an open mezzanine bedroom with two single beds. The gîte also has a ground floor sofabed with direct access to the wet room. Private entrance, terrace area and garden access.

Several attractions are available to you, Leisure: karting, canoes, Le Pal, tree climbing. Natural sites: Lac des Settons, Étang de Goule and its nautical base. Museums in Nevers (Blandin earthenware, archaeological...) in Moulins (Costume Center, Mantin House...) Weekly markets in Sancoins and St Pierre le Moutier.

Bonjour and a warm welcome to you! :) We are Sandra and Roy, two young Germans who settled in the green heart of France at the end of 2020. We speak a little French, English and our native language, German. We invite you to discover the calm and magic of our new home. At our place, you'll find a rustic veggie garden and free-roaming animals like two nice pigs, lovely chickens, ducks, rabbits, and our two cats, named Panthera and Chaudchat.

relax in this cozy 77 m2 village house, completely renovated, quiet in the Bourbonnais woodland. You will stay in the courtyard of a ruined medieval castle and you can eat at the foot of its tower. Located less than 10 minutes from the A71 and Montluçon. 15 minutes from Néris-les-Bains spa town and 30 minutes from Tronçais Forest. 1 hour from the Volcans Regional Nature Park and Vichy (Unesco World Heritage Site).

Marennes-Plage Cottage

Welcome to our charming cottage! 33 m² cottage with mezzanine and 200 m² garden a few minutes' walk from the Allier. The site is very quiet, 2 km from the village. Located 6 km from Moulins, 20 km from Souvigny and 30 km from Bourbon-l'Archambault and Lurcy-Lévy, this is the perfect place to visit the Allier during your vacation.

The Cottage du Port

The house is a pretty workers cottage on the towpath sandwiched between the canal basin and the river Loire on the Loire à Velo cycle track. It is picturesque, comfortable and quiet with the bakery, butcher and épicerie within walking distance. We have recently installed a bike stand.

Unique gîte, cosy retreat – Romantic Gîte –

In Gondières, you can enjoy a peaceful stay, 3 minutes away from Nevers - the largest town in the department. Both gîtes (La Ferme & Le Pigeonnier) are located on a 5000 square meters plot of land. They are separate from the owner's home, offering plenty of privacy. No pets.
