The Acadia NP Visitor Center, the start of the Park Loop Rd and downtown Bar Harbor are within 2 to 5 miles. Drive into Acadia or to the shops, restaurants & excursions of Bar Harbor or from late June to mid Oct, catch the free Island Explorer shuttle from the end of our road.

This is 8 years being ARBNB hosts in our home. Guests, one party up to 6, share the second floor that is private, simple and elegant with 3 bedrooms & 1 bathroom. We are the Black Friar Inn and Pub, the Skylight room has a big skylight which overlooks our sunny yellow room with a queen bed. Enjoy those Bar Harbor starlit nights from this rooftop room. Our in town location gives our guests a three minute walk to the harbor and downtown Bar Harbor. One dedicated parking spot, Fridge & WI-FI. Located on the third floor.

The Island Queen Suite is part of our famous Lighthouse Wing, which is attached to the historic Main House. This waterview suite has a king bed, a kitchenette, private bath, TV + wifi, and 2 exterior decks each with a private entrance! Guests may park behind this wing as well.
