Monthly Rentals in Mount Rankin

We stayed at Darcy’s Ranch during the April school holidays (two kids 13 and 10 and one dog). Excellent location - near the CBD but serene at the same time. Great view esp of the sunrise. We’ve never stayed at an Airbnb where the hosts were nearby, and we appreciated this at Darcy’s Ranch. Hannah and her fam were very responsive, and we could tell how well-cared for everything was. Bread from the Village Bakehouse was very good. The highlight for us was feeding their sheep 🐑 which we’ve never done before.

Our stay at Fiona’s place was absolutely unforgettable! The property was even more charming than we imagined—nestled in a stunning setting with the sweetest goats and wild kangaroos roaming freely. Waking up to such peaceful surroundings felt like a dream. The accommodation itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Fiona was a wonderful host—warm, welcoming, and full of great local tips. She made sure we were comfortable while also giving us space to enjoy the tranquility of the area. Our kids loved the goats (they’re so friendly!) and watching the kangaroos hop by at dusk was something we’ll never forget. If you’re looking for a unique, nature-filled getaway, this is the place! We loved our stay at Andrew's cottage! It had everything we needed and was really homely and cosy. The surrounds were absolutely stunning and so peaceful. We really enjoyed exploring the farm and getting to feed the sheep as well. Generous provisions left, including chocolate and marshmallows which we toasted in the outdoor fire pit. It's close to Bathurst and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Thanks a lot Andrew!

This is a unique stay, proudly different from the usual hubub. Complete privacy, peace and quiet away from it all. Fascinating, overbuilt and engineered, passive house ahead of its time, and lovingly preserved by the family of the original owner and builder. Give this home a try.
