Villa holiday rentals in Murray River

This was absolutely stunning. It was a private, quiet and clean space with all the amenities you could think of. There was absolutely nothing lacking and we felt extremely comfortable and right at home immediately. The space was large yet cozy, private with amazing views. We had constant and immediate contact every time we sought assistance. We couldnt be happier with our stay and we will definitley be back. Nelly's hospitality was second to none, and the property was just gorgeous.

Staying at the Heart of the Lion was one of the most incredible experiences. Being in a home that is over a hundred years old with a vast history was remarkable. It is incredible and very impressive that Grace and her family maintains their home and humongous garden all by themselves. The hosts were very friendly and gave clear instructions as to how to best preserve and respect this home, it is clear the amount of effort they put into allowing others to enjoy their historical property. The main bathtub was impeccable!!! so luxurious that my partner used it twice within our 1 day stay. I would highly recommend anyone to stay a night here to enjoy this wonderful staycation!

We had a fantastic time at Bronwen's place. Easy access to evrything, with clear instructions. We look forward to book again, if we are in the area next time.

Had such a lovely weekend getaway. Feels very private with such stunning views and heaps of wildlife. The hot tub is awesome and it’s only a short drive into town. Would definitely stay again!

had a great Christmas! thanks so much for having us. The house was massive, clean and fairly well equipped, could do with some more cooking trays and pots and pans but otherwise very good.

Great location and wonderful hosts. The location is 2 mins walk from the train station and has buses running in front of the location. There are stores close by for basic needs. Overall great place for family and we felt very secure as it had a locked gate and cameras. Definitely recommend and worth returning

Wonderful central property for family group to stay in. Very comfortable and homely for all ages. Encouraged informal catch ups in spacious areas available. Easy to get around with car spaces plus very close to public transport. Brenda was responsive and helpful.

This is a gorgeous property with a beautiful house. Amanda and Antony have done a superb job in decorating it and making it feel like home. The main lounge and bedroom is epic! So cosy and made for such a beautiful stay. The kitchen is really lovely, and very enjoyable to cook in. We had a great first night cooking pizzas and Amanda was very responsive to texts when I had questions about where things were. The spa was a great addition and we spent a few hrs in there on both days. For a wholesome getaway, I highly recommend staying here Thanks Amanda and Antony

We had such a blissful stay and this was the perfect location for our wedding, Deb and Elly were fantastic to deal with and the experience was second to none!

Perfect location for a weekend getaway!

What a fabulous place! The character of this home and beauty of the surrounding gardens made for such a great family getaway. With the billiard table, pool, sauna and tennis court, our teenagers were happy and occupied. Loved that we could walk to Sherbrooke Falls from the house, and the gorgeous cafe across the road. We had an amazing stay at the Dreamers Garden House, it comfortably fit six adults and our dog. The house was very homely with all the amenities needed for a weekend away. Wendy was a responsive host who promptly replied to any questions we had when staying at the property.

House was clean and tidy, had a really nice warmth as soon as you walked in the front door. Amber was super easy to communicate with and allowed us to check in early upon request which was awesome, and we appreciated a lot! Spa was great to be in on a cold night with a full view of the stars in the sky. Our favourite part of the whole house had to be the couch in the living area, it was so comfortable we wanted to take it home with us. Really had a fantastic time, would come back again definitely.

We loved our stay at River Run as part of a ski getaway. The property and surrounding land is so spacious and the house was beautifully decorated. The specific touches from making sure lights and heating were on to stocking the fridge with a choice of milks and having fresh gourmet bread available really took it to another level. The outside area is well set up and perfect for a large group getaway!

Smooth check in with great instructions for lock box. The unit had everything we needed for a family get away. Having the rail trail right behind the property was so handy for biking into town with children

The Retreat was everything as described and more. The bed and couch were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the villa was elegant and modern and the surroundings were so serene. It was the perfect little hideaway in the Adelaide hills for our Easter long weekend escape. The heated pool was used a lot, the windy roads around The Retreat were magnificent to drive on and it was easy to get in and out of the villa. Bridget responded quickly when I had questions and I felt very at home during my stay. It was especially nice to have the fireplace going on our coldest night. Overall, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone who needs a restful holiday.

Lovely and modern. Great facilities. Bedrooms were a little cramped and the internet did not work well.

Our stay at Acacia lodge was very relaxing and comfortable. The weather wasn’t quite suited to sitting out on the several balconies but we hope to experience that when we next visit. Great amenities and being able to cross the road and amble along the boardwalk into town was just delightful. We would highly recommend visiting both Metung and staying at Acacia Lodge.

Great place to stay and a short walk to the Murry . There was plenty of space for 5 of us . Everything we needed was there and really high standard . Loved the out door area and the kids loved the pool and tennis court and I can’t forget the toys !! We had a really enjoyable time and Teagan was fantastic at communicating everything . I really recommend this lovely place you won’t regret it . All the residents are lovely in there too . Thanks for having us we are so grateful

Lovely Unit, had everything we needed. From comfortable beds, very clean, beautiful view’s, quiet location, close to entertainment for kids and not far to restaurants. Loved being so close to the water. Would highly recommend this property. Kind regards Robyn
