Nishimura-Tei Hanare ― 100-year-old traditional house with kitchen & dining

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

"Makomoya House" nestled in the Oku Yamato Kogen of Nara and a mountain village at an altitude of 500 meters The 100-year-old house is rented out. Around the inn, you can relax and feel the "Makomo breeze" in the room. You can enjoy the hearth table and well water with wood, and in the Goemon bath, you can enjoy the "medicinal herbal makomoyu".
