Cottage holiday rentals in Nagano

There is a large hall, multiple toilets, and a slightly larger bathroom and shower room, perfect for large groups.It was also great to have a nice coffee shop and other restaurants and hot springs where you can see the sea of clouds in the early morning, such as Migahara and Takabuchi.It is also nice to see the stars very beautiful at night.However, if you are thinking of a BBQ, it would be better for you to be careful that there is no roof and that you use gas, and that there is a separate fee.The kitchen is simple and not suitable for large groups, but it was a bar counter and had a very nice atmosphere.There was also a barrel sauna outside that was free to use.Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with a very strong edge on the facilities and location.We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

The cottage itself might not be traditional Japanese architecture but the inside definitely is. Taller people could experience some issues but it's manageable with a little care. The kitchen is well equipped but the space is limited and if you prepare a lot of dishes at the same time, it's quite annoying. Would definitely recommend to use a rental car because you can access most restaurants and supermarkets within a couple minutes, as by foot, it can be a real pain to walk every time you need something. Overall a nice experience and would definitely recommend for larger groups up to 6 people.

Great house for me and my 6 friends. Walking distance to the town, roughly 10 minutes Rubbish was always grabbed if put in the outside bin. Great communication Host come and cleaned house half way through our stay and also restocked towels and kitchen

Alex and Rie are kind and considerate hosts and Thunderbird Cottage is a great base for skiing around Hakuba with a family / group. The car with ski rack is a big advantage for getting around to ski resorts and restaurants / shops. The cottage and car together are good value if you are looking for a peaceful environment that’s close to everything you need. Alex and Rie provided very helpful info that assisted our plans in and around Hakuba.

Please enjoy spending precious time with your family See you again soon The two days I spent in Sugadaira Kogen Kogen were very good memories. It was full of hospitality and owner feelings. Huge garden and organized classic house without any inconvenience. It is truly authentic. Equipped with modern acoustic environment items and outdoor gear, The classic style is in harmony. The space was reminiscent of a cabin in the United States/Montana.

We loved it. The house is huge, well equipped and everything was clean. You do need a car but it’s easy to get around. Ryo communicated extremely well (in English) and gave great recommandations. We would go back again.

Excellent place for a hideout from the city noise! Comfy place with spacious rooms! Very satisfying!

It was a great place to stay but really far from everything. We were also unable to reach a cab with taxi go or Uber. The only way we could get a ride was by calling a taxi service. It was also hard to explain the address to the taxi driver since we don’t speak Japanese. There was one time we did show the address of the Airbnb to the taxi driver and he took us far from it, we had to make a U-turn and guide him to the Airbnb. Other than that, it was a good, peaceful place.

This place was so cute & homie! Perfect location for our 1 night stay in Kusatsu. The cottage came with everything you need from shampoo to condiments. The host was responsive and very accommodating! 10/10

This room was a very charming place to stay, renovated and modernized in a historic vacation home.There was enough space and facilities to stay with 2 adults, 2 preschoolers and a small dog.The interior was very clean.Recommended for similar members.It is important to note that you need to drive a little on the dirt road from the paved road to the room, and it is not too casual to access the surrounding facilities listed with the photos of the room.

I stayed with four people, but it was spacious enough and it was easy to spend time in the flat!It was nice to have plenty of amenities. It takes about 5 minutes by car to get to the area with a scenic cafe.

There were no buildings around, so we could relax in our own private space.It was nice that the interior was kept clean. I also asked a lot of questions in advance, but it was very helpful that they handled it politely every time.

Hütte Boden is a cozy cottage nestled in the mountains near Mt Asama. The views of the mountains across were incredible from the porch on a clear sunny day. It has a good access to Karuizawa and Kusatsu Onsen (if one has a car). The host was very kind and friendly. She had neatly organized all the recommendations into files. The place was very cozy and we had an amazing time. She was also very considerate, with us forgetting the check out time. Definitely recommend this place for a mini vacation near Karuizawa.

Homely feeling cute cottage tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but a 8min walk right into the heart of it! Close to cafes/restaurant’s/bus stops/bars and food trucks. Everything is provided, and Takeshi responds to all our questions in a professional manner. Would stay again!

The accommodation was very comfortable. Especially around the kitchen, it was very clean, and there were plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, so it was very helpful when cooking. It was very good to experience the extraordinary experience of staying in the warehouse!

It was a very quiet and beautiful place in a villa in the forest at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake. The room was very beautiful, fully equipped with cooking utensils, and we had a comfortable stay. I would love to use it again if I have the chance!

Among the accommodations I have used, the most host was polite and I had a very pleasant communication. The view around the inn was very beautiful, and the accommodation was very tidy and relaxing. Highly recommended for thoughtful accommodations with local sweets and tea at check-in.
