Holiday rentals with breakfast in Nagara River

Kyoko was a fantastic host, who even met us at the door before arrival to allow us to put our bags in early! She provided lots of local recommendations, had a beautiful space, and even provided us food and other snacks! It is in a great location, 15 min from Nara Park and 5 minutes to Nara Station (if train noises keep you up, be sure to bring earplugs!) and I cannot say enough great things about this stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Osaka. The unit was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable for our group of six. It provided everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. The location is extremely convenient—just a short walk to the subway and surrounded by a great selection of restaurants. Universal Studios Japan was also easily accessible, only about 15–20 minutes away, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Our host was outstanding—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They provided clear and concise directions to the property, as well as straightforward instructions for the check-in process, which made everything smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Osaka.

Geweldig huis in echt Japanse stijl. Bij binnenkomst keken wij onze ogen uit, velen hoekjes en gezellige optrekjes. Een aanrader om hier te logeren. Het huis was tevens schoon en in de omgeving waren verschillende restaurants en supermarkten. Elke morgen stond er een mandje met broodjes en wat lekkers voor ons klaar.

Modern and fresh apartment. All the amenities that you need. Loved the recliner chairs to relax. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook for yourself. Large and easy to use bathroom with washing machine. Great outside area including hot tub. You’re right next to a bamboo forest. So very peaceful. Walkable to Fushimi Inari Shrine and 1000 red Torii if you are able bodied. Naoko responded to every request quickly and happily. Loved the treats for breakfast. Thanks Naoko.

The house was large, clean, and free of clutter. The bath area was clean as well.

Our stay at Yamashita’s beautiful 100-year-old Japanese villa in Kyoto was the perfect way to end our 2 week vacation in Japan. The house is spacious, very clean, and well-equipped, perfect for our group of 12. It has everything you need and more. It has a serene garden, jacuzzi, and sauna—the kids especially loved the jacuzzi! Yamashita is an EXCEPTIONAL host—very warm, helpful, and accommodating. She drove us to supermarkets and places we wanted to go and even picked us up for a small fee. She prepared simple yet delicious breakfasts. She was quick to respond to messages and even guided us on using local buses. Though the house is a bit far from the touristy areas, the peace and quiet of Yamashita’s home made it the perfect retreat. It offered a more authentic and relaxing experience of Japan. I highly recommend Yamashita’s villa to anyone looking for comfort, culture, and outstanding hospitality. And to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay in a traditional Japanese home.

숙소는 엄청 넓었어요! 4명이서 지내기에 충분했고, 2층도 있기때문에 2~3개 가족이 지낼 수 있을만한 크기입니다. 숙소암에ㅜ화장실도 깔끔하고 내부 시설이 좋습니다. 제공해주신 간식거리도 맛있게 먹었어요.🤤 위치는 교토역에서 도보 15분 정도여서 접근성이 좋습니다! 그렇지만 기찻길 바로 옆이라 열차가 지나갈때마다 소음은 있습니다. 호스트분은 정말 친절하고 응답도 빨라요. 교토역에 체크인 시간보다 일찍 도착했는데 이른 체크인이 가능하게 도와주셨어요😁 재빙문의사 100%👍👍

What a wonderful & true B&B Kuniko-san runs. Conviently located. Easy walk from Noda JR station or from the Tamagawa metro station off of the Osaka loop line that will get you anywhere you need to go in Osaka. Space was clean and roomy for 2 people. We could easily see how a family with smaller children could also use the space. Kuniko-san made some delicious traditional Japanese & western - style breakfasts. Her hospitality was graceous and when her neighbours came in to great her or she was outside speaking to them, you could see the real sense of community from the area. She is friendly and caring. We loved being able to meet her dog after she revealed she read that we had a dog too. We loved staying here and it's been one of the top experiences we've had with a B&B. It made us love Osaka more.

Conforme à la description et aux photos. L’hôte a été très réactif à chacune de nos demandes. Il est propre et bien agencé. En bonus, l’hôte vous met à disposition des collations et patch, très utiles après un long voyage ! Ce logement n’est pas loin de la station de métro et il y a aussi de nombreux commerces et restaurants à proximité. Je recommande ce logement.

The host was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for me since I was attending a conference at the international conference centre (20 minute walk). The facilities were excellent for the price.

好感恩和爷爷一起聊天的时光，爷爷的英语真的很赞，比我们好多了。好想一直住在爷爷家。并且我觉得爷爷应该开一个餐厅才对。爷爷做的饭真的是我在日本吃的最好几餐。乌冬面太赞了，好爱，我应该偷走爷爷的秘方哈哈哈哈。希望可以再次吃到！！爷爷教会了我们说“行ってきます”哈哈哈哈哈哈哈

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

Stayed here for a second time. Great place, feels spacious and has everything you need. It's quiet but also not far from anything you'd want to do in the area. Definitely recommend this place. Amazing hosts, easy instructions and comfortable space.

Clean apartment with great amenities. Close access to two train lines makes getting around very easy.

Yuya san was very hospitable to us,He is a great host!His house is full of cultural atmosphere, large and clean. The plants in the garden are lush and healthy. I highly recommend you to experience his house and appreciate his gardener's craftsmanship. We spent a pleasant time in his house.

This place is beautiful, peaceful and close to nature. Miyuki is easy to communicate with and responsive. The place is super nice, very clean and neat. The breakfast is simple yet very very homey and delicious. We wish we stayed much longer here. Locationwise is near the Gojo city so plenty of big supermarket, restaurants, etc. Recommended to drive so can explore this area better. We live the peaceful morning walk around the house. Thank you sooo much, Miyuki! Hope will be back here again in the future.

Albeit brief, this was my favorite stay of my entire Japan trip. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always proactive in making sure we felt at home not just in our accommodation but also in Kyoto and the lovely and peaceful neighborhood the townhome resides in. They made sure to follow up every question we had and made sure we were able to travel and make our next destination smoothly. We had some stressful travel beforehand, but they were extremely flexible in made our trip much easier. Also their cute daily breakfast was delicious and every single room had so much personality. It has a shared common space and bathroom but it never felt inconvenient and also allows you to get a one of a kind experience in Kyoto. The price was also incredibly reasonable and a great value. I look forward to returning next time I’m in town!

This was the best stay of our trip! The home was warm and welcoming. Chris was an excellent host; attentive, full of suggestions and recommendations, and very helpful with every request we had. It felt like we had an insider connection to this city. Big thank you!

What a beautiful traditional Japanese home to stay We totally loved the old house, beautiful decorations, the inner courtyard and our room. Everything was perfect! Chieri is a great host, we felt very welcomed and home right away. We were on a road trip, so we also enjoyed that we could wash our clothes. And we tried out the traditional japanese bath. Perfect! Chieri, thank you for everything! Hope to see you someday again!

Staying at John’s place in Shiga was an unforgettable experience! John is an incredibly passionate and energetic host, always full of enthusiasm. He and his lovely wife, Rika, made me feel right at home. They even invited me to join their family for a delicious homemade dinner, and Rika kindly provided breakfast as well. Their son, Andre, was also very friendly, and I truly enjoyed our conversations. The house itself is a charming countryside cottage surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect getaway. If you’re visiting Shiga, staying with John is an absolute must! Highly recommended!

Mike的民宿在常滑站附近，开车的话只需要5min，但走路可能要20min，交通比较方便很靠近名古屋中部机场，周围有便利店和一些小餐厅，整体上非常安静很少人，甚至飞机声和电车声都比较少听见。Mike非常nice，回复很快很及时，当我们晚上来到车站他已经在车站站着等我们了（依旧难忘他在车站向我们挥手的场景），帮我们提行李上下车，在房间里跟我们介绍房间浴室和吃东西的地方，因连住两天于是帮我们升级了一个大一点的房间! 他和妻子都很热情可爱，很欢迎我们来住，热情待客。浴室很大热水也很舒服。早餐的时候给我们每天早上准备一人两个水煮蛋，一大袋面包，酸奶之类的，还有小零食，意外很好吃~~最后一天我们舍不得走，早上mike带我们在海边转了一圈，看了一下名古屋的海，天气好好海很蓝。车站附近有很可爱的招财猫和陶瓷口散步道，非常适合慢下来逛街~喜欢这个民宿，感谢Mike和妻子对我们的照顾~希望之后也能再回来~
