This B&B is a place where you can live like a local in Iki and get to know the local people, including the host family (a couple who moved here 6 years ago and live with their 3 children). Your stay itself is a package of island experiences. Each room is a private room with 2 beds and 1 futon, accommodating up to 3 people. It has an ocean view and a toilet. The interior is warm, and the beautiful atmosphere gives a sense of security. There are two baths: a Goemon bath and a hinoki cypress bath. In the morning, the day begins with sunlight from the horizon streaming through the window. The concept is also "to engage the five senses". There is often music playing in the house. For those who wish, we also offer a free dance experience that is fun for everyone from children to adults. Books and art are also displayed to stimulate the five senses during your stay. We can also provide Iki-roasted coffee and Iki-made alcoholic beverages. For breakfast, we offer a daily changing Japanese and Western menu (¥1,320). For dinner, we offer a set meal centred around 100% Iki beef hamburger (¥4,400) or a sashimi and evening drink set (for 3-4 people, ¥8,000) (reservations required at least 2 days in advance). KIGI MOKU MOKU is a host-style home located in Kosasamachi, Sasebo City, about 20 minutes by car north of downtown Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, facing the abundant sea at the westernmost tip of Japan. Having lived here for 50 years, the trees in the yard have grown large and envelop the house that was rebuilt 20 years ago. When the morning sun rises, the birds begin to chirp, the crickets begin to sing, and shadows are cast on the wet edges. When the sun sets, the sky is full of stars, and on moonlit nights, you can see the shadow of the Buddhist priest. You'll be able to slowly feel the time change throughout the day.
