Peace and Quiet Stone Cottages

Rust en Vrede means rest and peace in Afrikaans which describes the experience of staying in these these two stone cottages. They are 20m apart and are ONLY offered as a pair, and have exclusive use of a rock pool. Each cottage has two 3/4 beds, bathroom, kitchenette and patio. The pair of cottages accommodate a MAX of 4 people in TOTAL in a private setting, with expansive views. These new cottages are in the same format as the other four on the farm which have received hundreds of 5* reviews.

Private three-bedroom country house

"Mooiheuwel" is a three bedroom house located on the family farm, Wagenpad in the Sandveld. It offers a peaceful and private retreat for up to six guests in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is an ideal getaway for families and anyone looking to escape the rush of the city and immerse themselves in the beauty of the Sandveld. The farm has hiking trails and beautiful scenery. There are also Cape Mountain Zebra, Bontebok, and Springbok on the farm.

Nostri House Paternoster

Somnium Nostri Magicae, "our magic dream" is located on small holdings just outside Paternoster. Peaceful, large open plan 2 bedroom house. Open plan kitchen & lounge with doors opening onto large deck with built in braai & fire pit. Separate scullery. Fireplace in lounge 2 large bedrooms. Main bedroom king bed. 2nd bedroom 2 twins. 2 Bathrooms with showers only. Main bedroom has patio doors opening onto small balcony. House is wheel chair friendly - both bathrooms set up.

Little Eden at Buffelspad

Little Eden is one of two cottages on the Buffelspad private nature reserve. The property borders the Cederberg Wilderness Reserve and is located at an altitude of 850m. The Fynbos reserve is a botanists paradise with a wide variety of unique plants spread across the property. Ymansdam is situated next to the Tankwa Karoo National Park at the foot of the Roggeveld Mountain, about an hour's drive from Calvinia on the R355. The fully equipped self-catering cottage is ideal for 2 people. The cottage has an en-suite shower, small kitchen and as well as a veranda with a fireplace and a splash pool. Guests can also choose a unique campsite that have ablution facilities. Visit Ymansdam and taste, experience and smell the lovely Karoo.
