This land with its old-fashioned townscape and famous water is hot in summer and cold in winter. But that's why the rice, vegetables, and meat are also delicious. There are many areas where nature remains, but few areas where the old townscape remains intact. I want to preserve this townscape. To that end, I want many people to experience a nostalgic way of life and culture. As such a place, we renovated a row house left by our ancestors and opened it as the Daiji, a soy sauce shop that had closed. You are always welcome! All the furniture are specially selected by the Owner’s sense, wooden-style based, natural, healthy & comfortable, so that you can relax just like you are staying at home.

The house is in a quiet, traditional area of Nara with smooth access to the station and main sightseeing spots. You’ll have 2 guest rooms upstairs with a toilet and washbasin. The shower room is on the first floor. Each room has a lock for your privacy. There are 3 futon beds and 1 double bed. Meals are available if reserved 2 days in advance: sukiyaki dinner (6,500 JPY/person) breakfast (1000 JPY/person) I also run a cozy café nearby, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
